The singer dominated the headlines a few weeks ago, when sources revealed that she had broken up with Ethan Slater. Soon after that, she was spotted with her ex-boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez. Even though no connection has been confirmed between them, Ariana, at her recent concert, subtly suggested that they may have rekindled their romance.

Ariana Grande is currently the talk-of-the-town due to her ongoing tour named Eternal Sunshine. As a part of the same, the global icon has done multiple full-house concerts in the past few weeks. In one of the recent concerts, she gave a hint of going back to her ex-boyfriend, Ricky, months after her split from Ethan Slater.
During the recent concert, the singer-and-actor performed her blockbuster song Thank U, Next. For the unversed, she had written this song for Ricky after their breakup. In the past few shows, Ariana Grande has been constantly changing one lyric; however, this time it was special as she sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky, we always find our way back." This instantly caught attention and fans wondered if she hinted at their romance.
Currently, the clips of Ariana Grande's recent concert are going viral and fans can't stop talking about it. One user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, "I’m so confused if she means always come back as friends or they’re actually back together." Another fan penned, "This is either friendship or the loudest soft launch I’ve ever seen."
For those who do not know, on June 26, 2026, Ariana Grande had said, "Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he's still got my back." Prior to that, she sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky / And they still kinda slap." All of these changes have happened only after she was spotted with Ricky, after her breakup from Ethan Slater.

Even though Ariana and Ricky dated only for a year, their romance is grabbing attention now, after 10 years of their relationship. According to reports, the pair first met in 2014, when Ricky was one of the backup dancers for Ariana's performance.
During this, they got to spend a lot of time together and the next, in 2015 they began dating each other. However, their romance lasted only for a year and they parted ways in 2016. Nearly two months before they parted ways, Ariana had shared:
"We're happy. I'm a very happy girl. I have a healthy life right now, and I think that's all anyone cares to know. The end."
Now, after ten years, rumours of a reconciliation are making rounds on social media. It all happened weeks after the singer broke up with her co-star, Ethan Slater, after three years of their relationship. During Ariana's tour, some fans noticed that her ex-boyfriend accompanied her everywhere and were spotted having dinner together. This led to romance rumours. Amid that, a source close to them revealed:
"She’s having a great time on tour. She loves having close friends join her for parts of the tour. Ricky has always been a friend and confidant. She really trusts him. He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh and she enjoys spending time with him."
It is worth mentioning that over the years, both Ariana and Ricky have been extremely supportive of each other. They have always cheered for each other. In 2018, when the singer released Thank U, Next, Ricky had shared the same on his IG Story and supported her. However, fans will have to wait for them to make things official.
