While their chemistry was instantly liked by the audience, there were also strong rumours back then, which hinted at their possible relationship in real life. While for the longest time, the duo never accepted nor denied any of the speculations, it was later in one of her interviews when Anushka rubbished it all and mentioned how she couldn’t have dated Ranveer, due to their extremely opposite personalities. Taking to the discussion portal, Reddit, a user recently dropped an old clip of Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh, as they jointly appeared for an interview for their then-released film, Dil Dhadakne Do. However, the highlight of the entire clip was the maddening antics and gestures, displayed by Ranveer Singh, while Anushka Sharma tried to politely answer the questions of the journalist. The actor seemed to continuously interrupt the actress, whenever she spoke to the journalist. Although Anushka seemed to be bothered by Ranveer’s behaviour, she calmly decided to deal with the situation and maintained her composure.

As soon as the old video was dropped, several eagle-eyed netizens took note of it and started to express their reactions. Well, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that a massive section of netizens was unimpressed by Ranveer’s behaviour, and on the contrary, hailed Anushka for maintaining her calm disposition despite it all. Moreover, many others even took a dig at the previous rumours about Anushka and Ranveer’s dating and stated how on the contrary, the former got the best husband in her life with Virat Kohli. A user penned, “Anushka got the best partner among her batch” whereas another netizen commented, “Ewwwwwe. Anushka looks uncomfortable.”

For quite some time now, Ranveer Singh has been hitting the headlines, especially after the few juicy statements he shared during his stint in the chat show, Koffee With Karan 8. However, among them, what has grabbed all the attention is the fact that the actor seemed to narrate a similar story about his first meeting with wifey, Deepika Padukone, which he also shared when speaking about Anushka Sharma, in a previous season of the show.
