On August 27, 2020, Neha Dhupia turned 40 and the diva received wishes from her friends, fans and family. And out of all those wishes, her hubby, Angad Bedi shared the sweetest wish for her. Angad took to his IG handle and shared two pictures with Neha where the lovely couple were hugging each other. Along with the pictures, Angad penned an adorable wish for his ‘Mrs’ which can be read as “To the Mrs... my pillar of strength!! Wish you a very happy birthday. Earlier, Angad Bedi had hosted a fun 'A/A' session with his fans on his IG handle and had answered a lot of questions related to his life and family. A user had asked Angad, “Want to know about secret behind ur happy married life? Neha, u & Meher are favourite ones” followed by a heart emoticon. Angad had given a hilarious reply and sharing a picture with Neha, he had written, “EK CHUP… SAU (100) SUKH” followed by laughing emoticons atop it. Talking about Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia’s fairy tale romance, then in a chat with Humans of Bombay, Neha had shared how the two had met and how they had become best friends. She had stated, “He tells me that he 1st saw me at the gym when I was 20 & told his friends, ‘I’m going to get to know her 1 day. When we moved to Bombay, we met at a mutual friend’s party–it was just us standing in the balcony. I saw a different side of him–beyond the jokes & wit, there was a sensitive man. We were both away from home in Mumbai, so I always relied on him for support. He lived a bachelor life & the 1 place he could always get home food was mine. We became close friends–there was no façade & no attempt to impress one another. Well, no attempts on my part! In fact, he was the 1st call after a major heartbreak & he talked me through it–I’m sure there was a hidden motive!”
In the glamour world, where keeping things personal becomes really difficult, Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia had managed to keep their relationship under the wraps. In the same interview, Angad had revealed why their wedding was so private and low-key. He had shared, “I feel that our marriage was low-key because we wanted a low-key marriage. Because, when my father got married he had a very low-key wedding and he was the captain of India at that time.
