It was a huge and pleasant surprise for one and all (like literally) when one of the famous celebs from the tinsel town, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, walked down the aisle. The lovebirds successfully kept it a secret and tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony on May 10, 2018. Just like their fans, it was a shocker for their friends from the industry as well. But sometime back before this happy news came to the forefront, rumours had it that Angad was dating Moroccan actress and accomplished belly dancer, Nora Fatehi. The two maintained their ‘good friends’ stance, but everyone said they were a couple. Post the success of the song Dilbar Dilbar (one of favourite Sushmita Sen songs), in an interview with a leading daily, Nora made a shocking remark. On being asked about Angad and Neha’s wedding, she sharply said, “Who is Angad? I don’t even know who Angad Bedi is. I never dated him, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. I have nothing to say about his wedding since I’ve never met him and I don’t care what’s happening in his married life.”
This was an utterly shocking remark made by Nora. In fact, they even attended Yuvraj Singh’s nuptial together and made a couple entry. Reacting to Nora’s statement, Angad Bedi told News18, “I’m nobody to comment on anybody’s body of work or what they feel about any situation. All I want to look forward to is a good future in cinema. I’m actually more focused on the fact that I target better makers to work with and I want to go in that direction. Well, Angad’s reply is really very subtle and mature. He reacted evasively unlike anyone would do if some good old friend remarks it. Also, Angad might not be wanted t to stretch the matter further and handled it as maturely as he could. Earlier, when rumour mills were rife that Angad’s growing closeness with Neha Dhupia was the reason behind their break up, Nora had said, “There’s nothing really to say about this because we were never together, to begin with. She also went on to say, “I’m not the one creating the smoke and the fire, let’s put it this way. I’ve got my head down working hard while others are chasing other frivolous things”. On the professional front, Angad Bedi is doing amazing, and he has also been praised for his performance as Bikramjit in Soorma. In the movie, he plays the role of the elder brother of Sandeep (the role of whom is played by Diljit Dosanjh).
