Former Femina Miss India, model, actor-turned-judge, Neha Dhupia is making the most of her lockdown phase with actor-husband, Angad Bedi and daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. And just like most of the Indians, Neha too, is channelling her inner MasterChef and is exploring her culinary skills. Her hubby, Angad gets a first-hand experience as he tries and appreciates everything that his wife, Neha makes. Or rather tries to! Sometime back, Neha had baked cookies for Angad and when asked for a reaction, check out what he had said. During the lockdown phase, Angad Bedi has been treating his fans with hilarious #siyappapaegayaghare videos, which gives an interesting sneak peek into his and his wife, Neha Dhupia’s banters at home. Sharing a video a while back, Angad wrote, “What will you do... Siyapaa banana bread da!!! #happywifehappylife #siyapaapaegayaghare #punjabi.” On which, his wife, Neha commented, “Video ke liye kuch bhi… poori kha li @angadbedi.” In the video, Angad reveals that Neha loves making banana bread but this time, it got burnt and he’s in a dilemma to either tell her the truth or give her a fake compliment.
On Earth Day 2020, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had posted an array of pictures with their baby girl, Mehr Dhupia Bedi. The family of three can be seen colour-coordinating in blue outfits. April 18, 2020, marked to be the completion of 17 months of Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi in this world. To make the day even more special, Angad had posted a Boomerang with his baby girl from their playtime as Mehr takes a bath in her little bathtub. Angad had captioned it, “17 months today.. baby Mehr. thank you almighty for giving us this beautiful gift called life @nehadhupia.” Neha had posted a picture with Mehr, wherein the mommy can be seen standing on a ladder as her baby girl looks up to her with a teddy bear in her hand. Playing perfectly with words, Neha had written, “Having a fan moment... our baby girl #17monthsold @mehrdhupiabedi @angadbedi.”
Answering The Quint quarantine questions, Neha Dhupia had revealed what social distancing had made her realise, “I would always tell this to Angad and everyone around me that all you need is love. So I am just happy that I am surrounded with family. I am a working mom so concentrated time with my daughter is something that I an really enjoying every bit of.” Neha had answered why her daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi’s nursery is her favourite corner in the house, “The nursery in our house is my favourite corner because I get to see her and she also gets a sense of space. And she always welcomes saying ‘come come’. So she calls us in.”
How she has been trying different things to keep her daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi busy, Neha Dhupia had retorted, “I didn’t think I would be such a good storyteller to my daughter. I have been doing things to keep my daughter busy. I wouldn’t say it’s a hobby but just getting creative with things lying around the house. She is not only doing art and craft but using a make-up sponge. We didn’t have paint brushes so we were dipping it in paint and using it or just cutting a vegetable and using the other side of the ladyfinger.
