When a child enters a couple’s life, everything seems right. Although their perfect life turns topsy turvy with the little member but nothing can subside the feeling of parenthood. From figuring out the need of the little one to sleep deprived nights, parenthood is a rollercoaster ride with mixed emotions. And as the little one grows, the doting parents try to capture each and every moment spent with their cute little goofball. Television couple, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta are going through the same feelings as they are nurturing their little angel, Anayka Gupta. In the year 2017, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi fame, Smriti Khanna had gotten married to her co-star, Gautam Gupta. And after three years, the beautiful couple was blessed with a beautiful angel, whom they have named, Anayka. Since then, their life has been revolving around their munchkin. The doting parents love sharing glimpses of their tiny tot and little Anayka never fails to make us happy with her cuteness. On September 11, 2020, Gautam Gupta had shared a beautiful picture of Smriti with their angel, Anayka and pooch, Lucas. In the picture, Smriti was seen caressing the two babies, Anayka and Lucas to sleep. Gautam had captioned the picture as “Mommy Duties> Daddy Duties.”
On September 14, 2020, we came across an adorable video of Anayka and their pooch, Lucas on her IG handle which is managed by her parents. In the video, Anayka looked like a cotton ball in a white and blue striped onesie as she grabbed Lucas and thought it was something she could eat. As she bent towards him, her daddy stopped her and the little munchkin’s expression was unmissable. The video was captioned as “She wants to eat everything she can grab .... including Lucas.” Another adorable picture was shared on her IG handle where the boss baby, Anayka was seen resting on Lucas. It was captioned as “Look who’s got my back.”
On August 28, 2020, we had gotten a glimpse of little Anayka’s new found obsession. Smriti had taken to Anayka’s IG handle and had shared drool-worthy pictures of her baby with Peppa pig. In the pictures, Anayka had looked adorable as she had played, hugged and licked her Peppa. Smriti’s little angel is definitely a star in the making as every picture of hers’ was filled with her cute expressions. Along with the pictures, Smriti had written, “Never understood why kids are so obsessed with Peppa pig. Earlier, in an interview with the SpotboyE, Smriti had talked about being a mommy and had said, "Our sleepless nights have begun (laughs). However, I’m getting habituated to it. The problem is that due to this lockdown, we don't have any help around us plus we don’t want to risk it by calling someone."
Talking about Smriti and Gautam's baby girl's unique name, the actress had revealed the story of the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had said that it had taken them 20 days to decide her name. She had further revealed what 'Anayka' means and had added that it denotes powerful and complete. She felt Anayka was an apt name for her daughter. The actress had also said that she had wanted a baby girl and her wish had come true and this had made her Mother’s Day even more special.
