Ananya Panday, one of the most beautiful actresses, needs no introduction. The diva started her acting career with the movie, Student Of The Year 2, when she was only 20 years old. Moreover, it was Ananya's exceptional performance in her recent movie, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which garnered a lot of attention and brought the actress a lot of praise. In a recent interview, Ananya revealed that her parents, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey never took the diva's wish to become an actress seriously and they were more into her education, college, and studies.
In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Ananya Panday shared that before going to college, she had a chance to come across Karan Johar, for whom she auditioned for one of the lead roles in the movie, Student Of The Year 2, and bagged it. Talking more about the same, Ananya revealed how her parents reacted to her getting a role in a movie at such a tender age. The actress said that it was her decision to step into the glamour world, while her parents wanted her to attend college. Ananya can be quoted as saying:
"The film worked out for me. But they (her parents), still at that time, were like, ‘Listen, we think you should go to college. You want to do the film. So later, if things don’t work out, don’t blame us. Don’t say we made you do this because we want you to attend college.’ But it was solely my decision."

Going further in the interview, Ananya Panday talked about how her parents reacted when she first told them about her wish to become an actress. Ananya shared that her parents didn't take it seriously when the former said she wanted to join showbiz they always wanted the diva to focus on her education, completing that and carrying a backup plan with it. Ananya said:
"It was also something my parents didn’t take seriously when I said I wanted to be an actor. They were always kind of particular about my college and education, finishing that, and having a backup.”
In the same interview, Ananya Panday also added why her parents wanted her to have a backup despite her wish to come into the film industry. Ananya shared that although her father, Chunky had a successful run in his career, he had his fair share of ups and downs. The actress mentioned how her parents know how much of unpredictable this career choice is, where the failure rate is higher. Talking more about the same, Ananya stated:
"Because my dad (Chunky Panday) has had a successful run, but it’s been filled with ups and downs. It’s not been the smoothest of journeys. More than anything, he understood how hazy it is. The failure rate is higher than the success rate. So he wanted me to have a backup. And his parents were doctors. So it’s a generational thing that’s been happening in our family.”
For those who don't know, Ananya Panday has been speculated to be dating Aditya Roy Kapur for a long time. Every now and then, the buzz about their relationship fuels the rumours, but they never address the same. Amid all this, a piece of interesting information surfaced online. A fan page of the diva posted a collage photo of Aditya and Ananya with a tagline that the duo 'is getting married in 2024'.

The eyebrows got raised, when Chunky Panday liked the video, which sparked the rumours about the alleged couple's wedding. On the other hand, Ananya's mom, Bhavnana made headlines after she unfollowed Aditya from her IG handle. Moreover, soon after such reports were out, Bhavana yet again started following Aditya, thereby escalating all the ongoing rumours.
