Ananya Panday’s cousin and Chunky Panday’s younger brother’s daughter, Alanna Panday, is pregnant with her first baby! On March 16, 2023, Alanna tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Ivor McCray, and almost a year later, she announced her pregnancy on February 28, 2024, via social media posts. The couple is yet to reveal the gender of the baby, but they have promised to do so soon. In a recent YouTube video shared from Alanna’s official channel, the couple shared the reaction of their family members to their pregnancy news, and it’s too heart-warming to miss.
For the unversed, Alanna Panday is the daughter of Chikki Panday and his wife, Deanne Panday, Chikki Panday is the younger brother of famous Bollywood actor, Chunky Panday, which makes Alanna and Ananya first cousins.

On March 5, 2024, Alanna shared a YouTube video on her official channel wherein she shared the reaction of her family members and friends to her pregnancy. In the video Alanna video called Ananya and broke the news of her pregnancy to her. Alanna resides in LA, which is why she had to video call to reveal the news of her pregnancy to her family. Upon seeing Alanna’s ultrasonography pictures, Ananya jumped in joy and called her mother, Bhavna, to join the call. The mother-daughter duo screamed in happiness.
Hearing the commotion, Chunky Panday entered the drawing room and looked perplexed at the excitement of his family members. Alanna then revealed her pregnancy news to her chachu, and he, too, jumped in joy. On seeing the ultrasonography pictures, Chunky asks if Alanna is expecting twins, but the latter denies. The entire family sends their well-wishes to Alanna and even started to plan their trip to LA on Alanna’s due date.

Ananya Panday squeals in joy and tells Alanna that she will soon visit her. She also expresses her desire to cut her umbilical cord. Alanna was happy to see her cousin’s excitement but stated that the father of the baby and her husband, Ivor, wants to cut the cord.
