It so happened that in the year 2011, Priyanka Chopra took to her Twitter handle and retweeted a one-liner put up by pop sensation, Rihanna. In the tweet, Rihanna had used the F-word, as she addressed the trolls, who slammed her for her look. However, Amitabh Bachan seemed quite upset with PeeCee's tweet, which could be read as:

As a response to Priyanka Chopra's tweet, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his shock over the same and schooled her publicly. Mentioning PeeCee in his tweet, the megastar asked her how come she was using objectionable words on the public platform. Big B reacted and penned:
“@priyankachopra @rihanna Priyanka !!!??? 4 letter word !!???? From you ???”
As soon as Priyanka noticed Big B's tweet, she immediately tried to explain herself, clarifying that it was just a retweet. However, Big B didn't seem pleased, and he continued the friendly schooling by saying that even retweets can be read by people on social media. He even mentioned that something similar had happened to him as well and signed off by wishing well to the actress. Big B wrote:
“@priyankachopra Arre, retweet bhi padha jaata hai ..mujhse poocho, main bhugat chuka hoon !! But chill .. love to you and take care !!”
While people expected things to take a wrong turn, Priyanka Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan's conversation ended on an unusual note. Acknowledging Big B's advice, Priyanka jokingly dissed Rihanna and further wrote that she learned the lesson. Showering love on the senior actor, Priyanka replied:
“pheeeewwww! Ok sir! Sabak seekh liya.. Bhaad mein jaaye Rihanna aur uske tweets! Love u 2 and have a good day @SrBachchan.”
Now that the tweets have resurfaced online, netizens have expressed their views on the same. People were sent into nostalgia as they revisited these old interactions between Priyanka and Amitabh Bachchan.
