And the same happened again when Abhishek heaped praises on his papa, Big B.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Abhishek Bachchan heaped praises on Amitabh Bachchan. The actor also opened up about Amitabh Bachchan's uttaradhikaari comment, which gathered a lot of attention back in 2022. Moreover, talking about the same, Abhishek shared that he went numb and was surprised after receiving such praise from his role model, Amitabh Bachchan.

Abhishek also added that apart from being an icon in the Hindi film industry, Amitabh is also a father and is allowed to play every bit of that role. The actor also raised a question about those who judged Big B and shared that despite being a talented actor, he is allowed to be a father and a human too. Going forward in the interview, Abhishek also shared that he would do anything for his kid, Aaradhya, and would never let anyone come in between, just like other parents.
It was back on March 24, 2022, when Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his Twitter handle and dropped a link to Abhishek's film, Dasvi. Along with it, he also penned a long note, wherein he elaborated on how proud he is. The talented actor, Big B quoted his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem and declared Abhishek, his heir. Amitabh's post could be read as:
"Mere bete, bete hone se tum mere uttradhikari nahi hoge. Jo mere uttradhikari honge, wo mere bete honge. --Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Abhishek, tum mere uttradhikari hoge, bus keh diya to keh diya."

Earlier in another interview with ETimes, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about Amitabh Bachchan declaring him uttaradhikaari. The handsome actor shared that he was overwhelmed after receiving such sweet words from his role model.
Abhishek also stated that when an individual gets praised by their idol, it makes their life blissful, and something similar happened to him after his dad heaped praises on him after watching his work. Abhishek also mentioned that he really appreciates the fact that his family just not only watched his work but also his efforts, and it meant a lot.
