Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan’s relationship is not only an inspiration to many mother-daughters but is also one of the most loved relationships of the glamour world. Alia Bhatt is quite active on social media and keeps on posting pictures of her family, every now and then. Alia, who shares a very warm relationship with her mother has always stated that her mother is her inspiration and her worst critic. Due to her busy shooting schedule, Alia gets very less time to spend with her mother and has often seen posting pictures of her mother on her Instagram with adorable ‘miss you’ captions.
On October 25, 2019, Alia took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture of herself sitting on her mother’s lap. In the picture, Alia looked like a cotton ball and her mother looked beautiful as always. Alia also posted a heartfelt caption with the picture which could be read as “To the most inspiring, understanding, beautiful, special/light soul that exists. The Raazi actress has been riding high on her professional front and had proved that acting is in her genes with her performances in movies like Highway, Gully Boy, 2 States, Dear Zindagi etc. In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Soni Razdan was all-praises for her daughter and had quoted, “She is my daughter, so I don't want to keep praising her. I think that what she is doing is good and she should continue doing it. Not only she chooses great films, but great films are also choosing her, interesting roles are also coming to her. She is coming to an interesting time in the industry which is ready for actresses like Alia who are doing different things. I think all actresses today are now wanting to do different things."
She had further added, “On one level, I also feel lucky that she is coming from this time where there are very one-dimensional roles for women. For example, her character in Gully Boy is such a wonderful character. It's such a role model for young girls. Earlier, nobody wrote such characters. So, you also need somebody who can write characters like that and also somebody who can play them. So she happens to be one person who is able to play these roles. And that's great for her. I hope she keeps on getting better as she is only 26 and as she grows older, she will get better and does more work. As a mom, I am looking forward to it."
On the work front, Alia is busy shooting for Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 in Mysore along with Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji’s Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra. Alia and Ranbir, who are madly-in-love with each other, were in news recently due to their fake wedding card and rumoured marriage. Although Alia had refuted her wedding rumours, we are eagerly waiting for the duo to announce the big news of the wedding date.
