While we might lose our favourite doll or the cutest teddy we used to cuddle at night, it is the bond of sisters that can never be lost. In fact, it gets stronger with every passing day, month and year. When they are together, they don't need anyone else. An exactly similar relationship is shared between the Bhatt sisters – Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and their half-sister, Pooja Bhatt. We all are well aware of the bond shared between Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan's daughters, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. But not many know that their half-sister, Pooja Bhatt (daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt) also shares a beautiful bond with her younger sisters. She has often stood for Alia during the media interviews and had praised her sister's amazing acting skills. Alia had also once shared that she never felt strange about having a step-sister and a stepmother. Recently, for the first time, we spotted the gorgeous trio posing happily for the lenses.
Today, on December 4, 2019, Alia Bhatt and her half-sister, Pooja Bhatt was present at the book launch event of Shaheen Bhatt. In the pictures that have been trending on the internet, we can see them laughing and supporting their sister, Shaheen for her first book, I've never been (Un)happier. For the launch event, Shaheen donned a velvet pant suit while Alia had picked a black striped one with off-shoulder sleeves. Take a look at their pictures below:
The event was also attended by Shaheen Bhatt's parents, Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt. And it was the first time when we have seen the entire family together.
For those who don't know, Shaheen had fought depression at a tender age of thirteen. Recently, Alia, who is five years younger to her broke down at an event while talking about her condition. She had shared that she felt proud yet her heart broke when she came to know about Shaheen's condition. Alia had also revealed that despite staying with her sister all her life, she could never understand her emotions until she read her book.
The Raazi star had also posted an emotional video, wherein, she talked about her sister’s book. In the video, Alia had shared , “When I come home after a long day at work or I am just sulking because of life, just one look at your older but still sparkling brown eyes just lights up my heart like you can’t imagine. When I read your very first book, a book that you have written with so much ease and honesty, while I struggle to write one letter to you. I feel awful. I feel terrible because despite living with you for 25 years, I have never really understood your silent moments of depression. I never recognised a snappy moment as something much bigger." She had further added, "Every time you refused to go out for dinner, I would think she rather sit at home and watch TV, be alone, not that you couldn’t bring yourself to get out of bed. Today you have connected to me on a basic, human level. And you have taught me so much more about life. I know you hate the fact that we all are saying sorry to you, but take the apology because even though we love you, I don’t think we understood what you were going through, to this extent."
