Raveena Tandon is one of the finest actresses of her generation in Bollywood. She has carved an unparalleled niche in the film industry with her pathbreaking filmography. Speaking about her personal life, she is married to film distributor, Anil Thadani and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Rasha and a son, Ranbirvardhan. Apart from her acting mettle, Raveena is known for her love for travelling. And recently, the actress completed a milestone journey regarding the same.
Taking to her IG handle on December 22, 2023, Raveena Tandon dropped an array of pictures, as she completed the 12 Jyotirlinga Yatra. Her journey started at Kedarnath Dham, and ended in Rameswaram Temple. Raveena was accompanied by her daughter, Rasha Thadani, and the mommy-daughter duo shelled out some major fashion goals for their holy pilgrimage trip. Speaking about Raveena, she looked gorgeous in a cream-hued saree, featuring golden borders and self-work in the same hue. She teamed it with a bottle green-hued full-sleeved blouse. An antique-style neckpiece with matching earrings, soft makeup and a low bun accentuated her look. On the other hand, Rasha looked pretty in a pink-hued sharara set, that featured golden borders.

In some of the other pictures that the actress shared, Raveena and Rasha could be seen posing in casual attire right in front of the Rameswaram Temple in the night. They even visited the temple next day, morning, where they sought blessings. Moreover, Raveena even enjoyed some blissful moments on the sea beach, Dhanush Kodi, near the temple. Along with the pictures, she penned a note of gratitude that read as:
“From Kedarnath to Rameswaram.. our quest to complete the 12 Holy Jyotirlings … thank you Shiva for everything… Har Har Mahadev , Jai Bholenath Shiv Shambhu…. At the tip of land where the Ram Setu starts , Jai Shri Ram …. #Ramsetu #Rameswaram #dhanuskodi #floating stones.”
Raveena Tandon loves to travel and it is often that the diva heads out to vivid destinations for vacations. Back on November 30, 2022, the diva visited the Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Taking to her social media handle, Twitter (now known as X), the actress dropped a bunch of snapshots of her photography, wherein she captured glimpses of a royal Bengal tiger. However, these came under the scanner of the forest authorities, who questioned her proximity to an endangered wild animal like tiger and even launched a probe for the same. In her defence, the actress claimed:
“Luckily for us, that we did not take any sudden action, but sat quiet and watched the tigress, move on. We’re on the tourism path, which mostly these tigers cross. And Katy the tigress in this video as well, is habituated to coming close to vehicles and snarling.”

Being a complete outsider to the film industry, the initial years of her career in Bollywood wasn’t a smooth one for Raveena. In fact, due to her slightly curvy built, she constantly faced criticism and was body-shamed for the same. Previously, in an interview with Smita Prakash, the actress talked about the same and shared how derogatory terms were used to describe her. Moreover, she even recalled being wrongfully hailed as the symbol of sensuality in the 90s.
