Bigg Boss OTT season 2 is leading all the headlines for the drama and controversies of the contestants inside the BB house. One such participant is Akanksha Puri, who recently grabbed the spotlight after her co-contestant, Jad Hadid allegedly touched her inappropriately. In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the show's host, Salman Khan bashed Akanksha for setting false narratives against Jad in her conversation with Avinash Sachdev about how she gets uncomfortable with Jad's touch. After this, Jad started to maintain his distance from Akanksha Puri.
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Akanksha Puri was seen having a conversation with Jad Hadid and clearing out things with him. During the conversation, Akanksha opened up about her past relationship with actor, Paras Chhabra and revealed how she has got scared of relationships after her affair with the latter. She was heard saying:
"I get a little scared of the consequences. I told you I had a past on this show itself. I was not the participant, somebody else was who I was with at that time, and we never broke up."

Though Akanksha Puri didn't take any names, she was heard telling Jad Hadid that her ex-boyfriend was a participant on the show, Bigg Boss, and added that he started liking someone from Day 1 of his stay inside the BB house. The actress further revealed that she never got any closure from Paras, even though he maligned her name on national television. Akanksha added:
"When he came on the show, he started liking someone from Day 1, we never had a closure. But obviously, there were some things that he said were to demean me, and disrespect me, and a lot of things he said on national television which were really not good. Since that day, till today I've not been in a relationship because I get scared of relationships becoming an issue on television."
Further in the conversation, Akanksha Puri told Jad that she is not a very touchy kind of person and that she doesn't like being hugged. However, Jad disagreed with her statement and even reminded her of the hug she gave to her co-contestant, Abhishek Malhan. Then Akanksha defended her actions by saying:
"When there is a little liking, it becomes a little bit of tension, which I feel. I'm restricted."

Paras Chhabra was madly in love with his Vighnaharta Ganesh co-star, Akanksha Puri for more than two years. Akanksha even got Paras’ name tattooed on her wrist as a token of love and appreciation. However, when Paras entered the BB house, he had started hitting the headlines for his ever-increasing closeness to fellow contestant, Mahira Sharma. He had started making some shocking revelations about his relationship with Akanksha, leaving the latter heartbroken. However, despite Paras’ statements about their relationship, Akanksha stood with him and supported him from outside the BB house. And finally, in January 2020, Paras announced his breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri, and asked her to move on in life.
