Popular actress, Akanksha Puri made headlines as the most talked about Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant. However, now she is out of the show, but her fans are missing her presence inside the BB house. Though Akanksha had a rather short stint on the show, she grabbed the limelight with her French kiss with her co-contestant, Jad Hadid. The duo locked lips on national television and those 30 seconds changed everything.
Akanksha Puri was previously linked with popular singer, Mika Singh after the latter chose her as his would-be-bride. However, the duo didn't share any updates about their decision to get married to each other. Now, in an interview with Bollywood Life, the actress also revealed her current equation with Mika Singh and shared that they are still good friends. Akanksha Puri said:
"He is busy with his work, and so am I. We are not dating. Yes, we are still good friends. He is someone who has been with me through the years as a buddy. Mika Singh is a genuine human being."

Further in the interview, when the actress was asked if she would consider spending her future with Mika Singh, she gave a beautiful answer. Akanksha mentioned that a life partner should be someone who is a good friend and added that if she and Mika ever come closer in the future, she would think about it. In her words:
"I believe your life partner should be someone who is a good friend. If we ever come closer in the future, then I would surely think about it. But nothing is happening as of now."
For the unversed, Akanksha Puri has been Mika Singh's friend for 12 years, and if reports are to be believed, then the two were allegedly dating each other earlier. When Akanksha entered the show, Mika Di Vohti, the other contestants criticised her for not realising her love when Mika was with her. However, Akanksha said that when she saw Mika with the other girls in the show, she couldn't stop herself and decided to enter as a wild-card contestant. And finally, she bagged the title of 'Mika Di Vohti' as the singer chose her as his would-be-wife.

In an interview with ETimes, Akanksha Puri talked about her bond with popular singer and her close friend, Mika Singh and revealed whether they both are married or dating each other. She refuted all the reports and future possibilities of coming into a relationship with the singer and clearly mentioned that both she and Mika had already mentioned in the show, Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti that they have been close friends for years, and they will continue being so. However, she also added that since she and Mika are both used to people talking about them, their dating reports don't bother them.
