For the unversed, talented actor and filmmaker, Satish Kaushik passed away in March 2023, and ever since then, it has been Anupam Kher who has stood like a true friend and taken care of his departed friend’s family.
Taking to her IG handle, Satish Kaushik’s daughter, Vanshika dropped an amazing video with Anupam Kher. The video featured both of them enjoying delicious caramel custard after relishing a wholesome lunch at her favourite restaurant, Little Italy in Mumbai. The duo also engaged in a little chit-chat, and like a doting guardian, Anupam could be seen teasing Vanshika’s habit of disliking healthy food. Moreover, Anupam also gifted her a set of storybooks and a journal to pen down her creativity. Along with the post, Vanshika penned a heartfelt caption, which could be read as:
“Hey guys! So today I had delicious lunch with the one and only Anupam uncle! At little Italy, as we were eating our dessert we decided to make a video. Our regular meetings make us both feel good! He tells me stories of papa, and makes me laugh every time we talk! And then we both miss him!”

Ever since Satish Kaushik’s demise, his dear friend, Anupam Kher has been doing everything in his capacity to be the pillar of strength for the former’s family. Moreover, he has been especially spotted taking time out to spend with Satish Kaushik’s daughter, Vanshika. The duo often head out for lunch and breakfast together, and are seen enjoying a beautiful banter. On June 20, 2023, Anupam Kher had dropped a video featuring Vanshika on his social media handle, where he addressed her as a princess. Moreover, he also mentioned that if in future she wishes to be an actor, he will be more than happy to not just train her, but also launch her. Anupam Kher could be quoted as saying:
“If you ever want to be an actor, not only I will train you personally as an actor, as a teacher, I will also launch you in a film."

This has not been the first instance that Anupam Kher has chalked out time from his busy schedule to accompany the Kaushik family. Well, on May 30, 2023, Anupam Kher had dropped a priceless picture of Satish Kaushik’s wife, Shashi Kaushik and his daughter, Vanshika, as the trio headed out to spend some quality time with one another. Along with it, Anupam penned a heartfelt note where he called Shashi and Vanshika as his friends turned family.

After her father’s demise, Vanshika Kaushik has been guided by a guardian in Anupam Kher, whom she fondly calls Anupam uncle. The duo love to make reels and videos together for their social media handles, which they later share with a lot of love. For instance, Anupam Kher had once joined Vanshika in a dance reel on her IG handle, something which the latter usually did with her father.
