Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently returned to Mumbai from the Cannes Film Festival. The actress was hailed for her professionalism as she graced the prestigious event despite her injury and sported a sling on her right hand. Aishwarya is soon going to undergo plastic surgery, and before that, she ensured to make her mother, Brinda Rai feel special on the latter's birthday.
On May 23, 2024, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a midnight celebration to mark her mom, Brinda Rai's birthday. Taking to her IG handle, the actress shared a series of glimpses from the bash and gave us a sneak peek into it. In the first picture, we can see Aishwarya holding a frame with her father's photo in it as she posed with her mom and daughter, Aaradhya. Sharing the photos, Aishwarya wrote:
"Love you Birthday girl, dearest Mommy-Doddaaa."

In the pictures, Aishwarya looked stunning in an all-black outfit and accentuated her look with winged eyeliner and bold red lips. She was also seen wearing an arm sling on her right hand. Aaradhya twinned with her mommy in a black-hued outfit and left her tresses open. We can also see four scrumptious cakes placed on the table, and the actress posed with her loved ones before the cake-cutting moment. However, Aishwarya Rai’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan was missing from the midnight celebration.
On March 18, 2024, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to her IG handle and shared a post to mark her father, Krishnaraj Rai's death anniversary. Aishwarya was seen posing with her daughter, Aaradhya and her mother, Brinda Rai with her late father's portrait. Aaradhya looked all grown up in a white-hued chikankari kurta and flaunted a centre-parted hairdo. In another picture, baby Aaradhya was seen giving a kiss to her nanu. Along with the pictures, Aishwarya wrote:
"Love you eternally, dearest darling Daddy-Ajjaaa. Thank you for all your Blessings."

According to a report in Mid-Day, it was revealed that on May 11, 2024, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reportedly had a bad fall at her Mumbai residence and fractured her wrist. The report added that the actress' wrist swelled up, but despite the injury, she decided to complete her work assignments. She requested the management that the venue should be spacious and comfortable at Cannes 2024. The source said:
“Two days after her fall, she did her costume fittings with her designers, and only requested that they ensure that the venue was spacious and comfortable so that she could avoid another injury. The brand was thankful and appreciative that she met her share of the deal despite being in pain.”
