In a throwback interview with a media portal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had revealed if things had changed for her post winning the Miss World title. She had stated, “I haven’t changed much. Probably after Miss World people have started listening to me attentively, they started taking me far more seriously, my approach became a little more responsible and I became a full-fledged media personality or what people call a celebrity.” Acknowledging working with good directors, who had recognised her capability as an actress, Aishwarya had said, “A hit gives you a chance to work with the best of directors, with God’s grace I never had lack of work. I am working with very good directors. People have recognised my capability as an actress and that is the most important thing for me.”
Aishwarya Rai had added Bachchan to her name when she had exchanged wedding vows with Abhishek Bachchan. There are no second thoughts that love-nest is a paradise, but there are only a few lovebirds, who teach us the meaning of true love and reinstate our faith in marriage. Revealing the real reason for marrying Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan was quoted as saying, "That's not the basis of my relationship with Aishwarya. It's not about - you're hot and let's get married. It's not that. I married her for the human being that she is, not because she is the most successful actor we have or she is the international face of the Indian cinema because she is one of the most beautiful women. No, it's not. At the end of the day, when you come back home from a hard day at work, you go to bed and you have to face certain realities about how the person is like.
