Winner of the Miss World 1994 pageant, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and B-town’s talented actor, Abhishek Bachchan make for one of the ‘IT’ couples of the Tinseltown. Right from being co-stars in Kuch Naa Kaho, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Guru, etc., to being the best of friends and later, soulmates, Aish and Abhishek have given a new definition to love and marriage. After getting engaged on January 14, 2007, at the Bachchan residence, Aishwarya and Abhishek walked down the aisle on April 20, 2007. But during those four months of courtship period, there was a lot that had happened as Aishwarya was a manglik. A famous Brahmin Vedic had then said that she will have to marry either a peepal or banana tree or an idol of Lord Vishnu (of gold or silver) to ward off its effect.
Nonetheless, Aishwarya and Abhishek got married and started off with their ‘happily ever after’. On November 16, 2011, the couple had welcomed their little princess, Aaradhya Bachchan. Aishwarya, Abhishek and Aaradhya make for one happy family and there is no doubt about that. Yesterday, on July 25, 2019, the lovely family of three was spotted in Mumbai as they spent some quality time for dinner. Take a look at the pictures here:
Talking about Aaradhya, Aishwarya had once remarked that they have a soul connect. Aish was quoted as saying, "Aaradhya and I have a soul connect. My day begins and ends with her. From the moment I wake up my entire perspective on the day is centred on her. Her constant presence in my life is not even something I consciously think about it. It’s just there! And I wonder how I lived before she was born. Only a parent would understand how I feel." Further sharing if Aaradhya is comfortable with the limelight she gets, the doting mommy had said, "What is really assuring is that she has incredible resilience, by God’s grace. She has seen this (public attention) from infancy. When faced with crowds she becomes very silent and observant, as though taking it all in. Yes, she clings to me in public because there are people screaming and jostling. In fact, I get more nervous when I am in crowds with her than she."
Coming to Aishwarya and Abhishek lovely story. Do you know Abhishek had proposed to Aishwarya in a very filmy manner? Recalling the same, Abhishek was once quoted as saying, “I was filming in New York for a movie. And, I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, 'One day, wouldn't it be nice if I was together with her, married. Years later, we were there for the premiere of Guru. After the premiere, we were back in the hotel. So, I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me.” (Don't Miss: Raj Kundra Once Again Gives Major 'Hubby Goals' As He Pens Love-Note For Wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra)
On the other hand, Aishwarya had once laughed while gushing about how Abhishek had proposed her with a prop, and not an actual diamond ring. Smitten by his gesture at that time, Aishwarya was once quoted as saying, “He is original and real, like our relationship. There is nothing predictable or boring about our life. We nurture each other. The gesture was spontaneous and meaningful. God has been kind to us. We can certainly afford those standard rocks. But do we need them?” (Chekout: Urvashi Dholakia Reveals If She And Anuj Hid Their Relation And Parted Ways Due To Societal Pressure)
Talking about how often do they fight, Aishwarya had once stated, "We argue and fight over such trivial things, nothing major. I can't carry a sulk for too long. After any argument, it's generally me who breaks the ice by asking Abhishek for some advice or the other. Besides, technology has made things so much easier, what are emotions for."
