Since then, Aishwarya and Abhishek are often surrounded by the conjectures of her second pregnancy and January 21, 2020, was no different! Abhishek’s tweet has left his followers wondering if his wife, Aishwarya is pregnant. Abhishek had tweeted, “Hey guys! Have a surprise for all of you. However, Abhishek Bachchan later clarified that the ‘surprise’ he was referring to, was the teaser release of Amitabh Bachchan starrer film, Jhund. Abhishek Bachchan had looked dapper in a black coloured suit and flaunted his moustache look. However, Aishwarya’s front-draped dupatta didn’t go well with the netizens as they thought that she was trying to hide her baby bump. The social media users had speculated Aishwarya to be pregnant and one of the comments could be read as "Is she pregnant or her lace in the dupatta is heavy?"
It was in March 2019 when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were holidaying in Goa and a candid picture of the lovebirds taking a walk at the Benaulim Beach was posted by The Goan Everyday. As soon as the picture had gone viral on the internet, netizens had started speculating Aishwarya to be pregnant. Aishwarya had donned a grey cami top which she had paired with shorts, and a slight bump on her belly was enough for the gossip mills to churn the speculations. Although in an interview with BollywoodLife, the spokesperson of Bachchans had refuted the reports and had blamed it on the wrong camera angle.
When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was pregnant with Aaradhya Bachchan, she had worked and flaunted her baby bump in a most beautiful way. Speaking of her journey of balancing work and pregnancy and breaking the stereotype, Aishwarya had stated in a Filmfare interview, “I have always been in the front line. Like, bring it on. For every phase. I have been in the front line of the army to take all the bullets and then it was a cakewalk for everybody else. I have done that in so many things. It was a good time. And sometimes you kind of feel good about yourself, that we did it, we have made the change but I think it's also that I was fortunate and it all works itself out. It's about you knowing that how prioritising makes you find your own balance and you gotta feel so good that you can do good with whatever you have taken on. On the work front, reportedly, Aishwarya will next be seen in the biopic of Noti Binodini, directed by Pradeep Sarkar. And Abhishek’s Ludo will hit the theatres in April 2020.
