Tyler first rose to fame in 2006 when he joined MTV's The Real World: Key West. He had completed his studies at Tufts University, and the show earned him a loyal following. Especially, Tyler's confidence, humor, and authentic personality won over the fans. Soon, the show's success opened the doors of MTV's The Challenge for him.
Later, Tyler also appeared on many shows, including The Duel, The Gauntlet III, Cutthroat, Rivals, All Stars 2, and All Stars 3. Gradually, these shows strengthened his image as a competitive and strategic competitor. Tyler's efforts paid off when he won Cutthroat in 2010 and later won again on Rivals in 2011.

According to the latest news reports, Tyler Duckworth was found after a neighbor who lived below his apartment complained about water leaking through the ceiling. Soon, the authorities in North Dakota responded to the complaint on the morning of August 11, 2026. There they found an unresponsive Tyler in the bathroom.
Meanwhile, the authorities have classified the case as an unattended death without any witnesses. Also, they found no immediate signs of foul play or any suspicious activities. Still, they need to confirm the official cause of his death. In fact, authorities are still waiting for his autopsy and toxicology reports, which could take multiple weeks before the police can confirm anything. Later, the news was also confirmed by his mother, Joni, who also stated they are waiting for final reports to announce funeral and memorial services.
