A look at Kaiynaat Dara's LinkedIn profile reveals that she studied International Relations and Political Science at the London School Of Economics. At the moment, she is handling Koco Hospitality, based in New Delhi, India. She has been self-employed at the same since the past six years.
Kaiynaat earlier worked with NDTV as an Output Editor. She worked in the newsroom, editing, building news bulletins, and writing scripts for videotapes. She was involved in breaking news broadcasting, audio-visual production elements, collating/sourcing international news for the English news channel. Kaiynaat had joined NDTV as a TV reporter, as she had written:

As a student academic mentor, she has provided students with academic guidance and feedback. Kaiynaat has also provided pastoral guidance on non-academic issues and referred students to appropriate support services within the school.
According to social media reports, Kaiynaat stays in Delhi and is from Chandigarh. When she was a Student Academic Representative at The London School of Economics and Political Science, her role was to ensure student concerns were addressed and students had a say in the running of their program. She had written:

Conduct campaigns for change by giving student voices a platform to be heard and actively problem solving with departments. Some social media reports alleged that Kaiynaat Dara is a Kashmiri, which is not true. She was born in a Punjabi Hindu Kshatriya family, and her gotra is Kashyap. She was in the 2019 batch of The British School, New Delhi. Her activities included being a leader at Greenovation, an environmental sustainability group; a member of Made For More- a mental health initiative. She has a rich educational background as she graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science with a first-class honours degree. Kaiynaat has been a former journalist and has gained hands-on experience in TV journalism.
