A while ago, Oliver Tree’s girlfriend named Fiona Chernavskaya took to her Instagram Stories to share a series of the singer’s unseen photos. In the last one, she penned a heartwarming note for him. In her note, she expressed gratitude towards all the love and support she has been receiving by Oliver Tree’s fans. She said:
"Thank you for all the kind words. I appreciate every ounce of support at this time. There are so many who have been affected by his passing, please show them love too."
Further, she slammed the reports of Oliver Tree being in a relationship with other women as well. Talking about their relationship, Fiona Chernavskaya revealed that she and Oliver kept their romance extremely intimate and were monogamous. She also requested privacy from netizens, so that she could process the tragic demise of her partner and best friend. Her note can be read as:
"And please have some respect for my privacy, we kept our relationship very intimate. What I really don't need is to see gossip about other women that Oliver may have been seeing, we were monogamous. Right now I'm mourning my partner and best friend, anything else is unimportant. Please have some respect."
Hours before sharing a heartfelt note on her IG Stories, Fiona shared a series of photos of her and Oliver on her handle. Along with it, she penned a note, in which she described the singer as her best friend. She recalled the good days with him and concluded the note with a hope to see Oliver Tree in the next life. She wrote, "To my best friend. We traveled to 43 countries, and all 7 continents together. The magic, inspiration and joy you brought to my life and others, will never be forgotten or replaced. You’d always tell me when we argued, if things don’t work out in this lifetime, you will find me in the next."
On June 14, 2026, it was revealed that Oliver Tree tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in Brazil. Reportedly, two helicopters collided mid-air and the impact led to both aircraft immediately catching fire. It is worth mentioning that Oliver was in Brazil for his world tour, when his helicopter crashed. Along with him, the crash took the lives of six more people. One of those was YouTuber, Gaspi.
