For those who don't know, it follows a group of young and “elite” nannies as they try to establish a childcare agency in Ibiza. In the first episode, members of the nannying agency, which is founded by the former nanny to the Kardashian-Jenners, Leah Barrs, spent their time trying to prove to their potential clients that they are the correct choice for them when it comes to childcare. Amid this, a nanny named Sydney Siegel opened up about the embarrassing incident she faced because of her outfit during an interview.
The first episode of Million Dollar Nannies saw the nannies sitting down for an interview with the Guiribitey family. If they secured the job, they would have to watch their young daughters, Alma and Aurora. For those unaware, the Guiribiteys are a couple made up of two dentists named Camila and Juan Carlos Izquierdo, who, according to the series, are worth over USD 500 million.
Each of the nannies got to interview with Camila and her mother, Taty. Among the candidates that were put up by Barrs was Sydney Siegel. However, her interview with the two women was not that pleasant. Initially, when Sydney entered the room, Camila looked at her mom and said, “She’s so pretty. Almost too pretty.” However, what she said next is what left Sydney completely stunned. Camila asked:
“Any particular reason why you decided on an outfit that has such a big cleavage?”
Camila's mother, Taty, also chimed in by saying, “We don't want to see your titties.” The comments made by the mother-daughter duo left Sydney so embarrassed that she could only manage to say, “No, I know, I know, I know.” But despite the hesitations that Camila and Taty had about Sydney's clothes, it seems like she left a good impression on them as they decided to take her on as a nanny for the kids, alongside Barrs.
While Sydney Siegel landed the position as the Guiribitey family nanny, in a recent interview, she admitted that her first interaction with them made her feel “immediately judged.” And even though she thought that the demands made by the family were “normal,” she did not like the way that she was treated by her employers overall. Sydney said:
"Obviously, they said my boobies were out. I don't have any, so I don't know what they were talking about…Obviously, we [the other nannies and her] weren't together, so I didn't know if everybody else was being treated the same way."
Throughout the first episode of Million Dollar Nannies, Sydney tried her best to keep up with the family's demands, but it wasn't so easy. For instance, they made her change her nail polish colour and made her wear baggy scrubs as her uniform while looking after their kids. Interestingly, despite her initial unpleasant experiences with them, Sydney revealed at the end of Million Dollar Nannies' first season that there was no bad blood between her and the Guiribiteys. In fact, she also earned herself an invite to Paris Fashion Week with the family. Additionally, after the show ended, she landed a contract with the family. Sydney was quoted as saying:
“Our relationship just evolved, and I proved myself to them, and now they're amazing.”
