A similar feeling bloomed in the hearts of Good Luck Charlie fans when child actor Mia Talerico, who played the role of 'Charlie', shared recent photos of herself on Instagram. The pictures revealed that she was starting her senior year of high school. Meanwhile, fans and her former castmates have noticed that Mia, who was once America's most-loved baby sister, has changed over time.

What did Mia Talerico do after Good Luck Charlie ended? 

After her memorable Disney days, Mia Talerico has continued to pursue acting. But now she works on select acting projects while continuing her education. She is set to appear as 'Young Kelly' in the upcoming family comedy American Summer. It is set to release in limited U.S. theaters on September 4, 2026. Previously, she also played the role of 'Paige' on the Brat TV web series Mani.

Mia is also active on TikTok and Instagram. She often shares posts related to fashion, beauty, and travel. Overall, her acting credits and lifestyle content have helped her build a large following at a young age.

Recently, Mia Talerico also used her Instagram handle to announce that she had started her final year of high school. She posted photos of herself holding a chalkboard sign that read, "1st Day Senior Year." In the photos, she was seen wearing an off-the-shoulder pink top and sandals. Mia completed her look with a fresh French-tip manicure. The former child star captioned it, writing:

"Last First Day! Now I'm starting to feel old."

The post got multiple reactions because internet users were surprised to see how the former child star had grown. Eric Allen Kramer, who played her on-screen father, 'Bob Duncan,' felt the same and penned, "You make a TV Dad proud." At the same time, Disney+'s official Instagram account commented, "Time goes by so fast!" Soon, fans joined in, and shared their own disbelief at how quickly Mia had grown up.

All about Mia Talerico's career as a child artist

Mia Talerico became a household face when she was cast in the titular role of 'Charlie' on Good Luck Charlie. She began filimg when she was 11 months old. Eventually, Mia continued to play the character for all four seasons until the show wrapped up when she was 5.

For those unfamiliar with the show, it followed the journey of 'Teddy Duncan,' played by Bridget Mendler, who used to record video diaries for her baby sister about their family's weird antics. The show also starred Bradley Steven Perry, Eric Allan Kramer, Leigh-Allyn Baker, and Jason Dolley. Despite having few lines, Mia's confused facial expression in one episode went viral. Many call it the "Charlie Meme" on social media. 

Mia also appeared in the 2011 TV movie Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas! and a 2013 crossover episode of Jessie. She once talked about her experience as a child actor on the show during a 2020 cast reunion. Recalling her experience of filiming for the show, she said:

"I probably had a really easy role 'cause I just got told most of my lines or didn't have any... We just rolled with it. I think it was really easy because most of the time, it was what happened. We just rolled with it, like, in the crawling scene, I just stood up, so we just went with it."
