The former pair first met in 2015, and in 2016, they secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas. Later, in 2023, Jelly and Bunnie renewed their vows. According to reports, Jelly cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split. Now, Bunnie broke her silence on the following on her podcast.
Recently, Bunnie XO opened up about her split from Jelly Roll on her podcast, Dumb Blonde. She revealed that her estranged husband, Jelly, who filed for divorce on May 18, 2026, has already moved on and is seeing someone. However, he has her full support on this. Bunnie shared that while Jelly is already dating someone, she is not interested in dating currently and is focusing on healing. She was quoted as saying:
"He is ready — raring and ready to go. He’s all hopped up on testosterone, let me tell you. He’s even started dating. I love that. His DMs are open. Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season, right? Like, I mean, the man looks great. He’s feeling himself. He looks so good. He is healthier than he’s ever been. J is a little lover, and he likes to snuggle and he likes to cuddle. Don’t worry about your girl. She’s fine over here. The crazy thing is, I’m not even ready to hook up with a dude. I’m ready to just focus on myself, pour into myself."
Further in her podcast, Bunnie XO shared that while she is not ready for a hookup, her estranged husband, Jelly, is ready to date. She stated that currently, Jelly is looking for someone who is the total opposite of her. She added that Jelly wants to settle down. Bunnie mentioned that she told Jelly to have fun in life as he had just got out of a 10-year relationship. She was quoted as saying:
"But my husband is ready to date. If you come with respect and you’re not being sneaky and you’re not lying to him about anything, I will welcome you with open arms. No offence to anybody, but I think he wants the complete opposite of me right now, which is what he deserves. He wants to settle down, but I’m just like, ‘J, you just got out of a 10-year relationship.’ I’m like, ‘Go play the f–king field, bro. Like, this is your time to shine. Do it."
In the same podcast, Bunnie admitted that she and Jelly bottled up their feelings as they rarely had disagreements. She explained that although it seemed good at surface level, not having disagreements is not healthy. According to Bunnie, over time, those bottled-up feelings and the unspoken issues cause serious problems in a relationship. She was quoted as saying:
"J and I have never really been good at having disagreements. So, we were the type of couple who never argued. So, he would be holding things in. I would be holding things in, and that’s a recipe for disaster. We always preach you gotta be comfortable having the uncomfortable conversations, and we did that for eight years in. Then the past year and a half, we kind of got away from that because we’re in a different life right now."
