Akanksha Chamola Slams Ram Kapoor For Making Pamala Serena Feel Unsafe, 'He Nearly Attacked Me'

Akanksha Chamola called Ram Kapoor out after he had a verbal altercation with Pamala Serena and made her feel unsafe inside 'Lock Upp 2'.

It seems like Ram Kapoor has a lot to answer for after he comes out of Lock Upp 2. The actor, known for his significant roles in television, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. First, it was his forced kiss with a male contestant that left people irked. Later, Shreya Kalra called him out for kissing and touching her without consent. And now, Pamala Serena stated how unsafe Ram Kapoor made her feel.

The latest episode of Lock Upp 2 showed another strange altercation which included Ram Kapoor. In the newly-released promo of the show, Ram was seen confronting Pamala over her remarks and slamming her for stating that he was targeting women. He said:

"You know what, Pamala, targeting women, my ass. All the men were hosed down by the women." 

However, Pamala kept running around to avoid the confrontation and babbling that she couldn't hear him. But Ram kept following her around the house and insisting that she should not make it about gender. Pamala kept asking Ram not to follow her and to stop talking, but he was on a different level, as he wanted to discuss the matter and kept following her. This left Pamala disturbed, and she said, "Oh my God, he nearly attacked me."

Seeing the situation escalate further, Akanksha quickly stepped in and confronted Ram for making any woman in the house feel unsafe like that, as the tense altercation left the house divided. Akanksha was quoted as saying:

"You cannot make any woman in this house feel unsafe like that."

For the unversed, a few days ago, Shreya Kalra expressed her discomfort with Ram Kapoor as she stated that he kept kissing her without her consent. Later, the next day, Gautami Kapoor defended Ram Kapoor and called him a man with all hearts. She received a lot of backlash. In another episode, Gautami entered the reality show and folded her hands in front of Shreya and apologised to her. 

However, the words Gautami used were extremely troubling as she defended her husband and said that please forgive her for her husband's behaviour who kissed her and spat near her. She added that Ram is like that and he is like a teddy bear. She said:

"Mataji, agar koi galti ho gayi ho toh maaf kar dena. Agar inhone apko galat touch kiya hai, thooka hai aapke… toh main inke taraf se maafi maangti hoon. If I hug you, you are not going to say anything, right? To all the women, if Ram has made you uncomfortable, then I apologize on his behalf. He is like that only; I am not defending him. He is just like a teddy bear."

However, Shreya smiled and stated that it was okay, but she looked uncomfortable. But it seems like the internet felt extremely disgusted with the way Gautami decided to address the whole matter. One user on X wrote, "It's completely shameful the way Gautami Kapoor defended Ram Kapoor's behaviour of kissing women repeatedly. She should think twice before defending such behaviour. Ram Kapoor's behaviour is simply unacceptable."
