Veteran actress, Rekha has been in the headlines for some time now as some shocking details about her personal life have surfaced online. For the unversed, reports were rife that the author of Rekha's biography, Rekha The Untold Story, Yasser Usman claimed that the veteran actress had been in a live-in relationship with her manager, Farzana for a long time. However, now, Yasser refuted these claims and called them pure fabrication.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Yasser Usman broke his silence over the ongoing controversy around Rekha's relationship with her secretary, Farzana, and denied the same. He shared a long picture note and revealed that he never mentioned the word, ‘live-in relationship’ in his book, Rekha The Untold Story. Calling the reports complete fabrication, he penned:
“The quotes alleging a ‘live-in relationship’ ascribed to my Rekha The Untold Story are complete fabrication, falsification and misrepresentation evidently intended to create sensationalism."

Further in his note, the author claimed that the incorrect quotes are a result of poor clickbait journalism and these keep on resurfacing every few years. However, Yasser strictly mentioned that he will take legal action against those who have published such claims and attributed them to his book, Rekha The Untold Story. He added:
“I vehemently assert that the quotes mentioned in the media articles are entirely absent from my book. Furthermore, throughout the entire manuscript, the phrases ‘live-in relationship’ or ‘hermetic existence’ or ‘the biography claiming the relationship is sexual’ have never been used. These incorrect quotes are a result of poor clickbait journalism and keep on resurfacing every few years. If these quotes attributed to me or my book Rekha The Untold Story are not immediately rectified, we will not hesitate to pursue legal action against the publications responsible."
Earlier, several media reports claimed that Rekha's biography, Rekha The Untold Story, highlights the actress' friendship with her secretary, Farzana. The reports added that, according to the book's author, Yasser Usman, only Rekha's secretary, Farzana, is allowed inside her bedroom. The alleged quotes from the book can be read as:
“Farzana is a perfect partner for Rekha. She is her consultant, her friend, and her supporter, and Rekha simply can’t live without her. In fact, only Rekha’s trusted secretary Farzana - who some have claimed is her lover - is permitted inside her bedroom; not even domestic help are allowed entry."
