Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are among the bubbliest and most charming couples in the telly world. From entertaining their audiences with their mushy romance on-screen to giving a sneek peek of their real-life through their Vlogs on their YouTube channel, the couple leaves no stone unturned. Moreover, currently, the couple is expecting their first child together.

Dipika Kakar tied the knot with Shoaib Ibrahim in a traditional nikaah ceremony on February 22, 2017. Their wedding was totally hatke as the couple simply won the hearts with their unending fun banter and lovely chemistry. However, since theirs was an inter-faith wedding, there were strong rumours back then that Dipika had converted to Islam and even changed her name to get married. This was later proven when a picture of their invitation card mentioned Dipika’s name as Faiza.
Well, such rumours and the picture of their invitation card were clarified when a report by BollywoodLife mentioned that Dipika had only used the name Faiza for their wedding invites. Moreover, it was also clarified that Dipika would only add the surname Ibrahim to her name after marriage. A spokesperson close to the couple further mentioned:
“She has not converted her religion. Her name is Dipika Kakar only. She will change it to Dipika Ibrahim. I spoke to them personally. They have used Faiza only for the invitation cards.”
Fast forward to now, the couple is expecting their first child together. And ever since their pregnancy announcement, their fans have been overjoyed to catch even the slightest glimpse of their favourite couple’s new journey. For instance, on March 7, 2023, the couple celebrated Holi, and both Shoaib and Dipika enjoyed their hearts out. However, what caught our attention was Dipika’s adorable look as she flaunted her cute baby bump in a white-hued chikankari suit.

Interestingly, Dipika and Ibrahim had not announced the news of their parenthood journey on the very first day to the world. The couple had hidden for a long time, meanwhile giving rise to numerous gossip. It was much later in their YouTube vlog that the couple announced their good news and also spoke about the reason for hiding it all along. The doting hubby, Shoaib, mentioned that it was all hushed up since Dipika had previously suffered a miscarriage in February 2022 and that both doctors and their family had advised them to take care of the mother and the child during their initial three months.
