The production house had broken headlines after they shared veteran actress, Poonam Dhillon's daughter, Paloma Thakeria Dhillon's gorgeous pictures along with the announcement note. Rajshri Films had confirmed that she would make her acting debut in Bollywood opposite Rajvir Deol in an untitled film, which will be directed by Sooraj Barjatya's son, Avnish Barjatya.
In the pictures shared by the production house, Paloma Thakeria Dhillon looked gorgeous in a turquoise blue lehenga which was designed beautifully with silver embellishments. The young diva looked simply breathtaking, and the close-up picture had shown her uncanny resemblance with her mother, Poonam Dhillon. Along with the pictures, Rajashri Films had penned an announcement note in the caption, and it could be read as:
"Rajshri Productions is proud to announce Paloma opposite Rajveer Deol in Rajshri's next, helmed by Avnish Barjatya. A memorable journey begins!"
Although Paloma Thakeria Dhillon is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood, not everyone is aware of the fact that during her school and college time, she used to play football on a regular basis. The young diva was so much into the game that there was a point in her life when she wanted to become a professional footballer. Moments after Rajashri Films had made the announcement on social media, it was Paloma Thakeria Dhillon's mother and veteran actress, Poonam Dhillon, who couldn't hold on to her emotions as she had penned an emotional note on Instagram. The doting mother had congratulated her daughter and had admitted how much proud she was of her. In her note, Poonam had also told Paloma that her years of hard work and dedication had finally paid off as she was all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood under the prestigious production house, Rajshri Films. Poonam's note in the caption could be read as:

It was in 2020 when in an interview with ETimes, Poonam Dhillon had opened up about the struggles of being a single mother. However, she had also admitted that her ex-husband, Ashok Thakeria was a constant support system for their kids, Anmol Thakeria Dhillon and Paloma Thakeria Dhillon, even after their divorce in 1997. The actress had shared that she had never stopped her kids from meeting their father because she was aware that a child needs both mother and father. Reflecting on the way she and her ex-husband, Ashok had taken care of their kids, she had said:
"I am a single mother in technical terms. But my kids (Anmol, Paloma) have always had their father's (Ashok Thakeria) support. They talk to him every day. They even go and meet him whenever they want to. A child needs father and mother, both. Bringing up children always has a bigger role for the mother. In India, we still haven't reached that stage fully where all fathers get involved as much as the mother. But it's changing no doubt, many youngsters relish this responsibility. All said and done, I have loved the job of parenting and feel very proud when my children are praised."
