Priyanka Chopra added Jonas to her name when she had tied the knot with the love of her life, Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace. They had exchanged their wedding vows in both Christian and Hindu rituals. For their Christian wedding, the couple had worn Ralph Lauren and for their Hindu wedding, they had opted for the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding was a lavish affair. According to the reports of Times Network’s India Economic Conclave, Priyanka and Nick grand wedding helped with the three months revenue of Umaid Bhawan Palace. The managing director of Indian Hotels Company Ltd, Puneet Chhatwal, who operates the Umaid Bhawan Palace said that the grand wedding took care of the three months revenue of the Palace. He also revealed, “That one per cent (of top spenders) helps. Last year, we had Priyanka Chopra’s wedding in Umaid Bhawan Palace and it makes up for the revenue of three months. On December 1, 2019, Nick and Priyanka had completed one year of marital bliss and had posted heartmelting wishes for each other. On December 2, 2019, Priyanka had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a video with some beautiful moments from her wedding along with a beautiful message. Her message could be read as “My promise. Then.. today.. forever. You bring me joy, grace, balance, excitement, passion… all in the same moment...thank you for finding me… Happy First wedding anniversary Husband... @nickjonas And Thank you to everyone for the love and good wishes. We feel blessed.”
Nick also wished his gorgeous wife, Priyanka with a beautiful picture from their white wedding. Along with the picture, he had also written an emotional message, which could be read as “One year ago today we said forever... well forever isn’t nearly long enough. I love you with all of my heart @priyankachopra happy anniversary.”
Priyanka and Nick had met each other for the first time at the Met Gala 2017 and hit it off instantly. After their much talked about relationship, the two had gotten rokafied on August 18, 2018, in Mumbai. On November 13, 2019, a report by The Wall Street Journal had revealed that Nick and Priyanka had spent $20 million for a property in Los Angeles. With 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, Nick and Priyanka had shelled out $20 million for the 20,000 square-foot property.
On a chat show named, The Daily Show, Nick had opened up about his relationship with Priyanka and had stated, "So many things. I could go into all of it and get all mushy but, I think the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those who are always going to be there for you. We found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing. I'm excited to start our life together."
