Would you take up a job that demands you to be on your feet every minute of every hour of every day, year after year (24x7)? What if you were told that it will be without lunch breaks, holidays, and sleep time? Going a step further, what if the employer told you that you would have to perform this job for free? Well, 100 per cent you will turn down this job, without thinking twice.
Now, here is an interesting video that posted such a job opening, and interviewed applicants for real. When told about these insane working conditions, the instant reactions were just the obvious- “that is inhumane”, “cruel”, and “insane”. Yes, the job does sound insane, but there are billions of people in the world who perform this job day in and day out, with a smile on their faces and content in their eyes. Once you find out who they are, it will either leave you with a smile or with tears, but one thing is certain, it will leave you speechless! Take a look:

The video has been brilliantly conceptualised. Looking at a mother’s job from the corporate point of view, the post seems aptly named the “Director of Operations”. Well, you might think that the interviewees would be mad at the interviewer for playing the prank on them. But interestingly, each of them is deeply struck and emotional by the revelation at the end of the interview, making the climax of the video very touching indeed. One of them even exclaims, “Mom, you are the best!”

It underlines the “crazy” things that mothers do every day, selflessly and smilingly; a job that no able-minded young professional is ever going to dare to accept. Surely, when the interviewer reveals what he is actually talking about, it brings tears to the eyes of the interviewees, (and of course, ours too!).

Mothers have a thankless job that goes unnoticed; yet they never demand appreciation or recognition for the love, care and concern they shower on their kids. Moms are always there unconditionally. And, that is why, they are taken for granted as well.
