If love poems, fictional romantic novels and our very own Bollywood have taught us anything about marital life, it’s the fact that wife always rules over her husband. And rightly so! Something similar is the case with everybody’s favourite celeb couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Anushka and Virat secretly tied the nuptial knot on December 11, 2017 in Tuscany, Italy, and since then, their marital life has taught us so much. From relationship goals to respecting each other and being openly vocal about their love, Anushka and Virat together make a power couple.
In a snippet video of an interview that Virat did a while ago, he could be seen all-praising for wifey, Anushka. We all know that Virat is the captain of Indian national cricket team and also heads Royal Challengers Bangalore. But who is the captain off-field in his life? In the interview, Virat answered, “She (Anushka Sharma) is of course, she takes all the right decisions in life. She is totally my strength and she keeps me positive all the time and that's what you want with your life partner so I'm very grateful”.
He also added, “She is very passionate about the game. She understands the game and she can understand the sentiments of all the players, what they go through and stuff, which I think is the most beautiful thing”. Take a look at the video:

Virat has always been overtly vocal about Anushka and how she inspires him in every way. When he led the Indian cricket team to victory in South Africa at the start of this year, Virat had said, “My wife has been keeping me motivated throughout, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going throughout this tour and when times have been tough and I am really grateful for that”.
In the same tour, when Virat was asked if focussing on the game post-marriage has been difficult, he answered, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all”.
Wow! Pati ho to aisa! In fact, Anushka as well has always been supportive of her hubby. During the SA tour, she kept cheering Virat from the stands, even during the ongoing IPL, she never forgets to tune in to her hubby’s match!
Truly, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma give us major love goals time and again. We hope to see more of their PDAs.
