We recently stumbled upon a rare picture of late legendary actor, Vinod Khanna with his first wife, Geetanjali Khanna. It's simply a priceless photo because it features their elder son, Rahul Khanna, who can be seen holding his baby brother, Akshaye Khanna in his lap and arms. In the picture, Vinod ji looked handsome as always in his polka-dotted shirt and blue jeans. On the other side, his wife, Geetanjali can be seen donning a lovely orange and yellow-coloured saree. Talking about the little boys, then the elder one, Rahul almost twinned with his mother as he looked cute in his yellow and orange coloured t-shirt. However, it was the little toddler, Akshaye Khanna, who won everyone's hearts with his sweet smile, as he looked simply angelic in his all-white outfit.

For the uninitiated, it was in 1971, when Geetanjali and Vinod had gotten hitched forever. Their lavish wedding was attended by all the famous people of the film industry. Vinod Khanna was seen as the perfect man who had no problem managing a demanding career and a family. Geetanjali and Vinod were blessed with a son, Rahul Khanna, in 1972 and another one, Akshay Khanna, in 1975. The father had a policy of not working on Sundays as he wanted to spend time with his wife and kids. Despite having a huge female fan following, he remained loyal to his wife and kids.

However, it was his decision to join Osho's ashram in search of solace that had changed his whole life and distanced him from his family for a long period of time. In 2002, Vinod had shared how, despite having wealth and fame, he had always felt uneasy. He was searching for something unworldly which had led him to the ashram of Osho. However, he had returned after spending a few years in the US and had realised the importance of his family. On April 27, 2017, Vinod ji had passed away following a prolonged sickness. The reason for his death was bladder cancer, and the actor had died with his family around.
