From her hair twirling, rolling eyes, killer bindi, vicious smile to her signature tune of 'Nikaaa' played in the background as she contemplated her next evil move, Kasautii Zindagii Kay wouldn’t be so special if it hadn’t been for their vamp, Komolikaa. At a very tender age of 16, Urvashi Dholakia had got married and by 17, she was a mother of twin baby boys, Kshitij and Sagar. After a year-and-a-half into marriage, Urvashi got separated from her husband and since then, she has been raising her twins as a single mother. Despite being at a tender age, Urvashi had no qualms in raising the twins alone and with the support of her family, she has been juggling her acting career and motherhood quite well since then.
On June 17, 2019, Urvashi Dholakia had confirmed her participation in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9, and sharing a teaser from the same, she had written, "Surprise!!!! New show new beginning... Love you all." In the promo, she can be seen shaking legs with a masked dance partner, and she warns him to maintain a distance because he's an ex now. The identity of the masked dancer will be revealed later by Salman Khan. But according to the media reports, Urvashi will tango with her ex, Anuj Sachdeva, who currently features in television show Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna.
Apart from the promo, Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva have also shot for the grand premiere episode of the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9. But as per the reports, a few days back, the ex-couple are not on good terms with each other. A source close to the production had revealed, "Urvashi and Anuj shot for their dance number for the premiere episode on July 1, but as soon as the camera called for cut, the two sat in two different directions making sure to not cross paths. They were seen giving a cold shoulder to each other giving the eyewitnesses an impression of all is not well between the two."
Amidst the rumours of the cold war on the sets between Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva, a SpotboyE report now states that the former has broken the ice with his parents. Anuj’s family was present on the Nach Baliye 9 sets as he shot for the first dance performance with Urvashi, and she made a positive gesture towards them. For the uninitiated, the ex-lovebirds, Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva never came on record and admitted to their relationship. Urvashi and Anuj were together for a few months, but the latter’s parents didn’t approve of her because she is elder to him and a mother of two children. Speaking about the same, Anuj was quoted as saying by The Times Of India, “I am very much single. I am looking for a perfect match for me. I would never say that Urvashi and I were dating. I have never spoken about her. We both respect and care about each other. I speak to many girls, but that doesn’t mean I am dating all of them.”
Despite getting divorced at an early age, Urvashi Dholakia didn’t remarry or had any serious relationship after her separation. Elaborating on the same lines, Urvashi had said in an interview with the Hindustan Times, “People had me getting in and out of relationships. I read the reports and found them funny. I was once linked to an industrialist. I wanted to say, “Please introduce me to him.” Jokes apart, I was busy working. Being a single mom and taking care of my family took up a lot of my time. I had responsibilities and I didn’t have the time to think about my personal life. I have never hidden anything, so why would I hide a relationship? My boys and my family are my priority.”
About how proud she is of her journey as a single mother, Urvashi Dholakia had stated, “Being a single mother was difficult. People tell me how I don’t look like a mother and how I haven’t aged. It’s amusing. Why will I age? I am 37. Many harp over the fact that I had my sons when I was 17. But what is the big deal? I take these comments in a positive way. I am proud of my journey, which has been a long one.” Revealing why she had taken a break from her work, Urvashi was quoted as saying, “I took a two-year break after Bigg Boss 6 as I wanted to be with them in their late teens. I wanted to give them time. I rejected 15 shows in this period, but most of them weren’t good. I wanted them to turn 21 and then return to work.
