A love story that began with a boy and girl falling on the sets of the show, and then heading towards their ‘happily ever after’ as husband and wife in their little paradise. This is how we got one of the most-beloved couples of the telly world, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and her dapper hubby, Vivek Dahiya. Divyanka and Vivek had worked together on the show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein and became each other’s pillar of strength in the process. Married on July 8, 2016, Divyanka and Vivek have been giving us major #CoupleGoals since then. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya are, in the truest sense, a ‘match made in heaven’ and this much-in-love couple never shy away from indulging in social media PDA or praising each other in media interviews. Divyanka and Vivek’s 'love journey' makes us believe that if something is meant to happen, then it will take place without you even having to try too hard. And July 8, 2019, marks the union of the most celebrated couple of the telly world, Divyanka and Vivek.
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya completed 3 years of marital bliss on July 8, 2019, and to celebrate this special day, their family ‘sneaked in a cake’ to surprise the lovebirds. For the uninitiated, Vivek is in hospital for being diagnosed with an intestinal infection and liver abyss. So, the family surprised Divyanka and Vivek in the hospital with a cake to celebrate their ‘unique anniversary’. Sharing the pictures, Divyanka wrote on her Instagram, "Unique Anniversary bring in is this...when the family sneaked in a cake to surprise us...when Viv and I exchanged a high-five instead of a piece of cake! #HappyAnniversary love!"
Just a few days back, to begin the anniversary celebrations, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya had headed off for a mini-vacation to Macau and as soon as they came back, the latter had to be hospitalised. Rumours were that Divyanka and Vivek would be hosting the pre-launch episode of Nach Baliye 9, but now due to unfortunate circumstances, the winners of Nach Baliye 8 have opted out from the same.
Stating the reason why Vivek Dahiya is hospitalised, a Pinkvilla report had quoted a source as saying, "Vivek and Divyanka had just returned from Macau, and from the very next day, Vivek has been down with a fever. The fever wasn't going down and with severe stomach pain, Vivek was rushed to the hospital yesterday and he has been diagnosed with an intestinal infection and liver abyss."
Confirming the news, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had said, "Yes Vivek has been extremely unwell. I have been shuffling between the shoot and hospital and luckily my family is also going to be in town soon to help us out. He is still recuperating and has been asked to stay on bed rest for a few days even post getting discharged." Divyanka had further clarified that they have shot for their performance before they left for their vacation, "We've shot for our performance piece but anchoring would not be possible for Vivek. I'm not sure either about my involvement in it. Busy with him for now." (Also Read: Rhea Chakraborty Comments On Rumoured Beau, Sushant Singh Rajput's Picture And We Agree With Her)
On their second wedding anniversary in 2018, the couple had taken some days off to spend some quality time together in the Maldives. Sharing a glimpse from the same, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had captioned it with a heartfelt message for hubby, Vivek Dahiya, “My idea of most romantic date was always 'a candle lit dinner by the sea waves'. After experiencing it for the first time today I realised, what makes a grand idea actually work is your company and the moments shared together, rest all is just photo friendly. What you can't see in a picture. The feelings exchanged, hands held, moments of silence between nonstop talk, impromptu grooving on make-shift music. That makes a 'real date'. Happy Anniversary Viv... Thanks for asking for my hand that day!”
Vivek Dahiya too, had posted two beautiful pictures from their Maldives vacation. But what was the most adorable were the captions that Vivek had written for his darling wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya. For the first image, he had written, “I watch chick flicks with her, she watches football with me!” and he had captioned the second one as, “Anniversary special. Love to each one of you for such warm wishes and greetings! #Maldivek”.
In an interview with the DNA, Vivek Dahiya had talked about the first impression he had of his now-wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya. He had said, "We were in the same show but we never interacted with each other. I had not done any scenes with her for a long time, but I could gauge by her body language and from people around her that she was respected as a performer and a person. Always draped in a sari, I thought she was the Tulsi of today." Reminiscing their non-dating period, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had stated, "I had done a small scene with him and we were barely speaking to each other. Since I had no intention of having a relationship with him, I did not give him much of a thought."
