Deepika’s cousin and the bride, Srila Rao looked absolutely ethereal in a pale pink saree for her stunning beach wedding. Her brocade saree with a zardozi border was a rose gold Sabyasachi creation which she paired with a gold Banarasi blouse. Keeping it subtle with her jewels, Srila wore a kundan and emerald choker along with a string of pearls. She also wore a pair of emerald studs, finishing it off with the classic gold kadas. On the other hand, the groom, Nadir Firoz Khan complimented her beautifully and looked dapper in a white sherwani. Bridesmaid Deepika opted for a white, net saree with a beaded blouse, keeping it stylish and classy. She even went for a minimal jewellery look with a drop, pearl earrings to compliment her ensemble. While Ranveer Singh kept it simple with a black kurta pyjama. During an interview with Famously Filmfare, Ranveer revealed three things that Deepika has banned him from doing. Stating the same, Ranveer shared, “Staying out of the house till too late, leave the house without eating and miss her calls”. Talking about Deepika, he revealed that she is gharelu and stated, “She is so gharelu...I love it...I love it. I am telling you I am going to be the husband of the millennium. Revealing the reason behind why he shifted to Deepika’s home post-marriage, Ranveer was quoted as saying, “I’ve grown up seeing a marriage where the attitude is to make it work regardless of anything. A marriage is a commitment, out is not an option. So, whatever you have to work through, you do. The most sensible and convenient thing was for me to move into her set-up. She is comfortable there and I don’t want to displace her. I always try to give her priority.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika candidly talked about her relationship with Ranveer and said, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.
