Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is one show that had broken all the records of television. With its exceptional storyline, it is one of the longest-running shows in the history of television. Based on Taarak Janubhai Mehta's Gujarati column, Duniya Ne Undha Chashma, TMKOC has garnered a lot of limelight over the years. The main characters of the show, 'Jethalal Champaklal Gada' and 'Daya Jethalal Gada' have become household names. Disha Vakani, who had portrayed the character of 'Daya Jethalal Gada' has become everyone’s favourite.

In 2017, Disha Vakani had embraced motherhood with the arrival of her little angel, Stuti Padiya and had taken a sabbatical from the show. And since then, her fans are eagerly waiting for her return to the show after her maternity break. There had been several reports suggesting Disha’s return but nothing has been confirmed yet. It has been three years now since she had left the show and we are waiting to see her back as Dayaben.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon an unseen collage of Disha Vakani’s daughter, Stuti Padia. In the collage, the first picture had Disha and her husband, Mayur Padia posing with their baby girl as Disha held her in her arms. The second picture had the face of Stuti, sleeping peacefully, wrapped in a pink cloth with a white mitten on her hand. The little munchkin looked cute as a cotton ball.
It was on June 7, 2018, when Disha Vakani had shared the first glimpse of her darling daughter on her Instagram handle. Disha along her with her husband, Mayur, had taken their daughter to the Tirupati Balaji temple to seek blessings from God, wherein the little one can be seen swaddled in a pink blanket in her mommy’s arms. Disha had captioned the picture as “May god bless our child and protects her from every obstacle.”
Sometime back, a picture of Disha Vakani had gone viral on social media from a family function that she had attended with her daughter, Stuti Padia. While Disha had looked mesmerising in a pink coloured saree, her little one looked adorable in a traditional outfit which she had covered with a blue-coloured jacket. A 2019 report by India Forums had revealed that Disha has still not decided about her comeback as she was unsure if she can balance her personal and professional life by shooting continuously and giving priority to her kid and family.

A few months back, when the reports of Disha Vakani’s permanent exit from the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, had emerged in the media, it had come as a dampener for her fans. According to a BollywoodLife report, when they had contacted the show’s producer, Asit Modi, he had texted them by saying, "Can't say about the authenticity of that news. I don't know." On Disha's permanent exit, he had continued, "Maybe true. I don't know about the final decision. My team is talking with her." To dig further, they had also contacted Disha's sister-in-law, Hemali Vakani, who had then retorted, "It is a too personal question to answer."
Soon after, a SpotboyE report had quoted an insider saying that Disha Vakani’s return on the show is dependent on certain conditions. Stating the same, the insider had shared that she can't be the 'My Way Or The Highway' types. The source had also revealed that the major differences between producer, Asit Modi and Disha Vakani were created by her husband, Mayur Padiya, who had started interacting with the production house (Neela Tele Films) on his wife's behalf.
