Akshay Kumar had once revealed his and his wife, Twinkle Khanna's responsibilities as parents. He had stated in an interview with The Times of India, "With my son, my job is simple. I let him do whatever he wants. If he feels a particular school is good for him, he checks out its website, fills the form and completes the formalities by himself. My job is to sign as a guardian and just pay the money. It’s as simple as that. Not to forget, my wife, Tina, is also a fabulously responsible parent to both our kids." On January 17, 2019, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna had completed 18 years of marital bliss and the actor-turned-author wifey had taken to Instagram to wish her hubby with a hilarious message. Elaborating on what she calls an ‘18 Year Challenge’, Twinkle had posted an array of posts and had revealed the answer to the question ‘what did your husband give you for anniversary’. But giving it a twist, Twinkle had talked about everything her husband ‘didn’t’ get her on their anniversary, which she would have loved to have.
In her first post, Twinkle Khanna could be seen climbing aboard an aircraft, with the caption, “What did your husband give you for your anniversary? Unfortunately, he didn’t give me a private jet #18YearChallenge.” In her next post, Twinkle had posted a picture with her childhood crush, Rob Lowe and had written, “What did your husband give you for your anniversary? In her third post, Twinkle Khanna had posted a picture of Akshay Kumar hugging Ranveer Singh and had captioned it as, “What did your husband give you for your anniversary? Unfortunately, he didn’t even give me a freshly wrapped Mr Singh just kept all the hugs for himself #18yearchallenge.” Twinkle had saved the most beautiful wish for the last in her series of anniversary wishes for her husband, Akshay, which could be read as “What did your husband give you for your anniversary?
