Twinkle Khanna claims men are like ‘desserts’ in women’s life

Twinkle Khanna has often grabbed the spotlight for her controversial statements on the aspect of feminism and patriarchy. Yet again, something similar happened at the launch event for her next book. During an interactive session with her readers and fans, Twinkle entertained a question asked by none other than her husband, Akshay Kumar, who was seated amongst the audience. The dashing actor asked his wife whether men are irrelevant in her book, since all the characters in it are female. To this, Twinkle kept up her witty yet humourous character and gave a sassy response. The diva claimed:

“No, you need dessert, right? To be happy. So men are important for us to enjoy ourselves and indulge. And I think that a lot of this that I could do is including going to study. I would have not been able to do it if he hadn’t supported me the way he has.”
