While there haven't been any signs of foul play, the unusual circumstances of the actor's death have sparked shock and intrigue among his millions of fans.

Over his six-decade career in the entertainment industry, he repeatedly spoke about not being married and never having children. His personal life has been so widely explored that even his website has a whole FAQ section dedicated to questions about it. It quotes Tim Curry from an interview, "many years ago," and says he was once "almost married."

Why did Tim Curry never get married?
Regarding whether Tim Curry was in a relationship with anyone at the time of his death or has a current partner, the website states: "Tim is a remarkably private man and always has been. He may have a partner, but if so there is no public reference to them either from Tim himself or any other source." Tim's sexuality has been a much-discussed aspect of his life off-screen.
However, his website is extremely vague in its response to such questions, using a quote. In March 1975, Tim Curry told After Dark that he didn't want to talk about who he was in love with or intimate with. He added, "It's of paramount interest to me and very little interest to your readers. If it is of interest to them, then f*** 'em." He went into detail addressing the topic of marriage and relationships in his 2025 memoir Vagabond.
While Tim Curry was extremely private about his personal life, he revealed in an interview with The Guardian that the lack of information doesn't mean there hasn't been any. Talking about his romantic relationships, he said that he has experienced love, heartbreak and relationships. However, he didn't regard the details as material for public consumption. In the book, he wrote that he has deliberately kept his romantic and sexual life private and stated:
"Affairs of the heart or bedroom...they are – respectfully – none of your f****** business."

In fact, the reason he does not mention his romantic and sexual life in the book is a topic he has rarely discussed in public. Regarding the late actor's other family. It has been revealed that Tim Curry had a sister named Judith, who unfortunately passed away in 2001, shortly after his mother's death. He was quoted as saying:
"Tim has one older sister, Judith, who passed away in 2001. He has a nephew and two nieces. Tim's mother passed away in June 1999 after a two-year battle with cancer. His father died at age 45, when Tim was 12."
RIP, Tim Curry.
