Nowadays, tying the knot is not easy, forget inviting all your relatives and friends. The stay-at-home orders have led to many weddings on hold around the world. In the midst of a Coronavirus affected world, 'the big fat Indian weddings' has shifted to small virtual weddings.
However, there are couples, who cannot handle the distance and the anxiety. So they are planning to opt for intimate weddings and virtual streaming for the relatives, who cannot attend it. And our couple of the week gave us wedding inspiration by opting for a court marriage amidst the pandemic.
Meet our bride of the week, Karishma Khakiani, who married the man of her dreams, Rikin Patel, in an intimate court marriage. For the court marriage, the bride had donned a gorgeous deep red-hued saree with floral print. She had styled it with a matching crop top style blouse.
The bride had accentuated her look with polki neckpiece with matching earrings. Her makeup artist added more charm to her wedding look with natural-toned makeup and hair styled in a messy bun. On the other hand, her groom had donned a matching deep red-hued sherwani with a floral Nehru jacket over it.
For haldi ceremony, the bride had picked a yellow-coloured indo-western outfit. She had donned dhoti pants with a one-shoulder floral crop top. She had styled her look with a floral neckpiece, matching earrings and a maang teeka.
For her mehendi ceremony, the bride had picked a gorgeous green dhoti set with a cape. Her outfit comprised of dhoti-pants with mirror-detailing on the waist, a matching crop top and a cape. She had accentuated her look with a pair of earrings, a maang teeka and hair styled in a side-braid.
After the intimate court wedding, the couple had celebrated their union with a wedding reception. For the wedding bash, the bride had donned a pretty pastel pink lehenga with embellished sleeves. She had kept her look subtle with pink-toned makeup and soft curly hair. On the other hand, her groom had donned a black sherwani with white pants and a floral doshala.
