Student Of The Year 2 is all set to release soon and the promotions of the film are going on in full swing. Thus, began dating speculations of both the actress (Ananya Panday with Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria with her Marjaavan co-star, Sidharth Malhotra). Speaking specifically about the latter in here, Tara was earlier speculated to be dating late, Vinod Mehra’s son and Baazaar actor, Rohan Mehra. And it’s not us but their Instagram stories said so! From romantic holidays, cutesy captions, hand-in-hand at parties and what not, even before Tara Sutaria made her mark in Bollywood, we already had a fair idea about her speculated dating spree.
And now, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Tara Sutaria threw some light on her relationship rumours with Rohan Mehra. The soon-to-debutante clarified, “Rohan and I have known each other for a very long time. We have a lot of mutual friends too.” About Tara and Rohan dating each other, a source close to the couple had earlier shared with an online portal, “They have been together for more than a year now and love spending time with each other. Tara is very close to Rohan’s sister Soniya and the duo has even met each other’s families. They share a common interest in music too.”
Hardly were we getting to see more pictures of Tara Sutaria and Rohan Mehra when rumours about her being ‘more than just friends’ with her Marjaavan co-star, Sidharth Malhotra started to brew. In the same interview, Tara revealed, “Sid and I live close by so we hang out together. He’s very busy and so am I but it’s nice to have someone close by. We have a lot in common, he’s wonderful! About working with Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria shared, “There’s a third film now (Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu action-drama RX 100), which I kick off in two weeks with Ahan Shetty. It’s a blessing to be doing three films in my first year. I’ve just wrapped up Marjaavaan, an emotional, dramatic, violent love story which was quite a change from the light-hearted SOTY 2. When I heard the script for the first time I wondered if I’d be able to do it as it’s such a different world. The girl in the RX 100 remake is also completely different.”
Tara Sutaria, in yet another interview, had revealed the kind of conversations she has with her rumoured flame, Sidharth Malhotra. The Suite Life Of Karan And Kabir actress had revealed, “We talk often...we talk about our film. I also got my second film with him. Of course, we also talk about other things too (Here, Ananya and Tiger laugh). It’s the whole padosi pyaar kind of a lovely chat."
For the uninitiated, Sidharth Malhotra was earlier dating his Student Of The Year co-star, Alia Bhatt. As per a recent SpotboyE report, Sidharth’s ex-girlfriend, Alia Bhatt had bumped into his rumoured present ladylove, Tara Sutaria. What had happened thereafter? The report had it that all was calm between the two actresses and Alia had even hugged Tara. The report had further claimed, "Alia made the first move and that was heartwarming. She hugged Tara almost the same moment she saw her. She then hugged Ananya Panday (Karan's other new student, who also stars in Student Of The Year 2 with Tara) too. And then, she told them to sit beside her. Soon, Tara and Alia struck some chord and started chatting like they were long-lost friends."
