Popular actress, Tanushree Dutta is once again in the headlines after she revealed that multiple attempts were made to kill her. The actress, in her recent interview, talked about the same and, once again, pointed fingers at veteran actor, Nana Patekar and his close friends in the industry. For the unversed, as per the actress, during the shooting of the film, Horn OK Please, she was allegedly harassed by Nana Patekar, Vivek Agnihotri and choreographer, Ganesh Acharya.
Although the claims made by the actress during the #MeToo movement lacked proof, but she remained quite vocal about her complaint in the media. Once in an old interview with Zoom TV, Tanushree Dutta had opened up about Nana Patekar and had talked about his nature. Calling him an abusive person, she had said:
"Everyone knows about Nana Patekar. He has always been rude and abusive towards women. Everyone knows that he has a history of assaulting women and that is an unspoken truth in this industry".
According to a report in The Times Of India, Tanushree Dutta opened up about the death threats she received after she accused veteran actor, Nana Patekar of sexual harassment. The actress admitted that some unidentified people had made multiple attempts to kill her after she had opened up about the Bollywood mafia. Opening up about the same, Tanushree shared that when she was travelling to Ujjain, her vehicle's brakes tampered with an attempt to kill her. The actress admitted that she met with an accident because of it, and the recovery process had taken a few months.
Not only this, but Tanushree Dutta also added that a maid was planted in her house, who was mixing something in her water. Although initially, she hadn't suspected anything but when she had fallen sick, she came to understand the entire plan to kill her. Some time ago, the actress had posted a note on her social media handles in which she stated that if she gets killed in the coming months or years, then Nana Patekar and his well-wishers will be the ones, who need to be arrested. Her note could be read as:
"If anything ever happens to me let it be known that #metoo accused Nana Patekar, his lawyers & associates & his Bollywood Mafia friends are responsible! Who are Bollywood Mafia?? Same people all whose names came up frequently in SSR death cases."
On the same note, Tanushree Dutta had also urged people not just to boycott the movies of the Bollywood mafia but also to keep a distance from the people, who were circulating fake news about her. The actress also had taken a slight dig at the law and justice, as Tanushree had stated that she hadn't been given the kind of justice she had wanted. In the end, putting her hopes on people, Tanushree had penned:
"Do not watch their movies, boycott them totally & go after them with a vicious vengeance. Go after all the industry faces & journalists who planted fake news about me and PR people too behind the vicious smear campaigns. Go after everyone!! Make their lives a living hell because they harassed me so much! The law & justice may have failed me but I have faith in the people of this great Nation. Jai Hind...and bye! Phir milenge."
On the professional front, Tanushree Dutta was last seen in the film, Apartment, which was released back in 2010.
