Rhea Chakraborty is all set to be back on the screen after years. Recently, the actress took to her IG handle to share the news that she is returning with MTV Roadies 19. As per the reports, she will be a gang leader in MTV Roadies 19. However, this project can be counted as her first television reality show after the demise of her ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput.
It was April 10, 2023, when Rhea Chakraborty took to her social media handle to post a video in which she shared the audition details of the upcoming season of MTV Roadies. In this video, we can see Rhea climbing down from a rope and saying, what did you think? I won't come back, or was I scared? Then she paused and added that it's time for someone else to experience fear now, see you at the auditions. Rhea Chakraborty's words can be heard as:
"Aapko kya laga mein wapas nahi aaungi, darr jaungi… darne ki baari kisi aur ki hai. Milte hai auditions pe."

After Rhea Chakraborty announced her return, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh, took to her Twitter handle to slam the actress. Reacting to Rhea's video, Priyanka Singh tweeted:
"Why would you be afraid? You were, are, and will remain a prostitute! The question is, who are your consumers? Only a ruler can give this courage. WhoResponsible 4Delay InSSRCs is obvious."
With the announcement of Rhea Chakraborty's comeback, fans started bombarding the comment section. Many internet users supported MTV's decision to make Rhea a gang leader, while others started questioning it. Reacting to this video, one user wrote, "This is the year where @mtvroadies will ruin their own audiences. Maximum youth will not be watching because of the wrong gang leader. Disappointment." Another internet user commented, "Roadies ka standard ab itna khrbh ho gya ran sir prince bhai r raftar aur neha mam ko wapas bulao." A netizen commented, "I used to be a Roadies fan. Yes, you read it right, it's a PAST tense now."

It was in 2020 when the Bollywood industry lost a gem, Sushant Singh Rajput. Even two years after that news, the investigations are still running. It was back in 2022 when Sushant's sister, Priyanka Singh, accused his ex-girlfriend of ruining his life. In an interview with India News, Priyanka said that the late actor, Sushant Singh's life was ruined since 2019 after Rhea entered his life. She also took a dig at them who tried to save Rhea during that time by saying Rhea was saved by the people who did not speak enough about the crucial issues. She also added that Rhea was sent to destroy her brother's life.
It was June 14, 2020, when the dead body of Sushant Singh Rajput was found in his flat in Bandra. However, the investigations were brought into various angles involving ED, CBI, and NCB. As per the reports, investigations are still going on. However, in September 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-girlfriend, Rhea, who was accused of her involvement in the late actor's death case, was arrested by NCB for a drug-related case. However, she was released after spending one month in Mumbai’s Byculla jail.
