Although the admiration they have is quite evident in their social media posts, comments and public appearances with each other, now all that their fans are waiting is for an official confirmation about their relationship status. During his television days, Sushant was in the news for his long-term relationship with Pavitra Rishta co-star, Ankita Lokhande. And since he made his debut in Bollywood, Sushant has made the headlines for his linkups with Raabta co-star, Kriti Sanon and Kedarnath co-star, Sara Ali Khan. Now, it has been quite a while since Sushant and Rhea’s relationship conjectures have been serving as a hot gossip with morning breakfast.
Looks like the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here as Sushant Singh Rajput made his relationship with Rhea Chakraborty, Insta-official. Sharing a picture of Rhea, Sushant referred to her not-so-rumoured-anymore ladylove as ‘meri jalebi’ (a reference to Rhea’s last release, Jalebi). However, Sushant deleted the post from his Instagram later.
It all began in June 2019, when two posts from Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty, plying that they were holidaying together in Ladakh had popped up on our Instagram feeds. While we always fancy celeb holidays, this time, it was the similar background and the same kid in both the respective pictures from Sushant and Rhea’s profile that had taken the internet by a storm. And soon enough, speculations began if this duo was vacaying together. While neither of them confirmed, but their ‘together’ pictures just received a boost from the same.
Sometime back, a Mumbai Mirror report containing an update about Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty had made their fans dance with joy first and then question themselves, “When is it happening?” The report had it that Sushant was all set to pop the ‘big question’ to his not-so-rumoured-anymore muse, Rhea! Apparently, Sushant was in a hurry to get married to Rhea after almost a year of courtship and leave behind his image of a playboy. It was also reported that Rhea, however, was in no mood to take things so fast and will take her rightful share of time to give a vertical nod or a horizontal one. Throwing some light on Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty’s wedding reports, a source had shared with Pinkvilla, "Both Rhea and Sushant are close friends who enjoy each other's company, however, marriage isn’t on the cards as of now as the actors are currently focusing on their respective careers. Sushant is busy with the promotion of his upcoming film Chhichhore and Rhea has a film announcement soon. They have just started seeing each other. It's been a few months and they are now getting to know each other well. There's enough time before they decide to take the marital plunge. Right now, it's not even a thought playing on their mind."
It was Rhea Chakraborty's birthday on July 01, 2019, and Sushant Singh Rajput had left no stones unturned to make it a memorable affair for her. Sharing a glimpse of all the fun she had, Rhea had captioned her post on Instagram as “Gratitude. Happy happy to me, so much excitement = tiny glitch in this video! Ps - I got a new haircut." Rhea had also shared a picture with Sushant and her other friends and had called it her "Happiest Birthday”!
