Salman Khan’s unlucky love story with former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai needs no introduction. Despite being a perfect match, the couple broke up allegedly due to Salman’s abusive behaviour. However, right after her break-up, Aishwarya started dating Vivek Oberoi, which fumed Salman with anger. Sadly, Vivek and Aishwarya’s relationship was brief and they parted ways amicably soon enough.
There's no denying that the relationship between Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan remains sour even today. Now, in an interview, Vivek's father and actor, Suresh Oberoi spilled the beans on the kind of relationship he shares with Salman after Aishwarya and Vivek's break-up. Talking about the same, he revealed that he still shares a respectful relationship with Salim Khan and Salman and added that they all meet each other very nicely. Suresh said:
"Whenever Salman Khan meets me, he hides the cigarette and then talks to me as a part of respect. I always tell Vivek to touch Salim Ji's feet. I also respect Salim Bhai. Things happened but my relationships are good enough."

In the same interview, Suresh Oberoi also talked about his son, Vivek's relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their break-up after the movie, Kyun Ho Gaya Na. The veteran actor shared that he had no idea about the duo's brewing romance until Ram Gopal Varma told him. He was quoted as saying:
"Most of the things I didn’t even know. Vivek never told me. Ramu (Ram Gopal Varma) told me. Before Ramu, somebody else told me. I had made him understand. Samjhaya tha mat karo."
For the unversed, Vivek Oberoi called for a press conference in 2003 and claimed that Salman Khan called him 41 times, accusing him of having physical relationships with many leading ladies of Tinseltown. Vivek also shared that Salman had even threatened to kill him. After the press conference, no one from the industry came to his support, and every other A-lister of Bollywood slammed him for his statement.

Once, in a throwback interview with The Times Of India, Aishwarya Rai revealed many shocking reasons behind her break-up with Salman Khan. She had shared that Salman used to call her after their break-up and talk rubbish. Not just this, the actress also revealed how he suspected her of having affairs with her co-stars and even got physical with her. In her words:
“Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”
