Surbhi Chandna is one of the most popular faces of Indian television. The actress has risen to household fame, courtesy of her impeccable performances in some of the most hit shows, such as Ishqbaaz, Qubool Hai, Sherdill Shergill, Sanjeevani, Naagin 5 amongst others. Currently, she is soaking in bliss from her newly married life. For the unversed, Surbhi tied the knot with her long-time beau, Karan Sharma on March 1, 2024, in a destination wedding in Rajasthan.
In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Surbhi Chandna and her husband, Karan Sharma revealed several unheard anecdotes from their love story to their fans and followers. For the unversed, the duo managed to keep their relationship under wraps for almost 13 years, before making it official. Talking about the same, Surbhi mentioned that it was never a conscious decision for both of them, and they simply liked to keep their personal lives low-key. In her words:
“Everybody kept asking how did I do this. Because you’ve done such successful shows and people are curious to know. I had given enough hints and my fans already knew. The industry friends knew.”

Moving forward in the conversation, Surbhi Chandna reminisced about the beginning of their love story and remarked that the two of them crossed paths when they were pursuing MBA courses. Surbhi mentioned that back in the days, when she used to work for a 9 to 5 job, Karan, on the other hand, was completing his MBA in London. Expressing how the phrase, ‘keep it private till its permanent’ suits them the best, Surbhi said:
“Maine kaha na main MBA kar rahi thi, main job kar rahi thi toh Karan bhi taab apna MBA London main kar raha tha. feel that… one fan has put and sent me a very nice pillow with mine and Karan’s photo. The phrase reads keep it private till the time it’s permanent, ayesa kuch ek phrase hain… I don’t know, I never thought about it. We have kept it like that because we liked it like that.”
Despite being such a mushy couple, Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma never indulged in PDA and shared their private moments to the world. Talking more about the same, the latter remarked that unlike other couples, they never posted their pictures from their date nights on social media. Revealing the reason behind the same, Karan mentioned that on these date nights, the duo used to get so busy with one another, that they never really found any time to post pictures. He stated:
“Because you know social media main humne kabhi date nights and all ka photo dalte nahi the. We never fancied that because on date nights we couldn’t get enough of each other, so we couldn’t get the time to click photos.”

On March 5, 2024, Surbhi Chandna elated her massive fan base by dropping the first-ever pictures from her wedding with hubby, Karan Sharma. The couple radiated sheer love on the very special day of their lives. Speaking about the bride, Surbhi looked gorgeous in pastel pink and blue-hued dual-toned embellished lehenga. She teamed it with a matching choli¸ featuring sheer full sleeves. She completed her look with heavy jewellery pieces, subtle makeup and pin straight hair. On the other hand, Karan looked dashing in a powder grey-hued embroidered sherwani.
