In the glimpses going viral on the internet, we witnessed celebrities such as Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Jaya Bachchan, Jeetendra, Rekha, and many more making their way to the bash. Hema was surrounded by her family, including her husband, Dharmendra, and their daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
As glimpses of the fun-filled celebration of Hema Malini's 75th birthday bash are doing rounds on the internet, the absence of Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol from the party grabbed everyone's eyeballs. Now, the netizens are claiming that all is not well between Hema and Dharmendra's first family, and thus, she chose not to invite them. Well, it seemed like she was upset with Sunny Deol for ignoring her and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol at his son, Karan Deol's wedding.

Time and again, Hema Malini has claimed that everything is well between her and her stepsons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as they are extremely cordial with each other. As per a report in BollywoodLife, an insider revealed that Sunny Deol was given an invitation to the party, but he couldn't make it due to work commitments. Sunny even sent a flower bouquet to Hema Malini on her 75th birthday and acknowledged her invitation. The source was quoted as saying:
"Sunny Deol was definitely sent an invitation, but due to his work schedule, he couldn't make it. Hema Ji and Sunny Deol are cordial, and there is no difference between them. Having said that, there is no space for any gossip here. Sunny Deol even sent a flower bouquet to Hema Malini on her 75th birthday and acknowledged her invitation, but due to his genuine work commitment, he couldn't make it."
The rumours about the alleged feud between the two families have been doing the rounds for some time now. However, Esha Deol put an end to it after she hosted a special screening of her step-brother, Sunny Deol's film, Gadar 2, at her house. The actress even shared a picture of herself posing with her siblings together, and everyone was stunned by how good and happy they looked together. Talking about the same, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Hema Malini stated that they all are very much together, regardless of any problem. She also added that it is nice that the press got the pictures of the Deol siblings' reunion and they were happy about it.

Earlier, in a conversation with AajTak, Hema Malini talked about her bond with Dharmendra's first family and revealed that she doesn't understand why people think they are separated. The veteran actress also ended the buzz around her absence from Karan Deol's wedding and mentioned that it happened due to 'certain reasons'. Elaborating on the same, Hema Malini said:
"It is funny how people make it look like we are separated. We are always together, whole family is with us. For certain reasons, they were not in the marriage and that is a different matter. But Sunny, Bobby always come during Raksha Bandhan since the beginning."
