Popular actor, Sunil Grover is currently promoting his recently-released web series, United Kacche. The web series was released on the OTT platform, ZEE5 on March 31, 2023. The Sunil Grover-led show is receiving many positive reviews as people like the plot and his mushy chemistry with Sapna Pabbi. However, during the promotions of the web series, Sunil Grover opened up about the possibilities of working with Kapil Sharma in his iconic celebrity comedy-reality show, The Kapil Sharma Show.
For the unversed, Sunil Grover has not only made people laugh out loud with his comic characters, 'Dr Mashoor Gulati' and 'Gutthi' but has also impressed everyone with his acting chops in films. From playing a negative character in Tandav to playing a priest in Goodbye, Sunil has shown his wide range of acting time and again in the films in which he worked.

In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Sunil Grover was asked about his opinion on Kapil Sharma admitting in one of his interviews that he is all set to welcome him with open arms. Sharing his thoughts on the same and chances of seeing him playing the character of ‘Gutthi’ in The Kapil Sharma Show, Sunil Grover clearly denied it. The actor admitted that he wasn’t aware of the things that Kapil had said in his interview, as he told people to go and ask him again.
Not only this, but Sunil Grover also admitted that he is enjoying his time while working on films. The actor opened up about his journey so far as an actor and stated that he had done enough non-fiction work. The actor added that he is currently equipped with fiction work, and he also loves it. Sunil Grover also shared how he is also growing as an actor in his craft, courtesy of the different roles he plays in films. At the end of his conversation, Sunil admitted that, as of now, he has no plans of returning as 'Gutthi' in The Kapil Sharma Show. In his words:
"Abhi to aisa koi...ya to pujhwalo fir aap. I am also busy right now and enjoying what I am doing. He is also busy and doing good work. I am also doing good work. I have already enjoyed my phase of non-fiction and am currently liking the fiction setup, gaining new experiences as a performer. I am having fun. There are no such plans right now."

In the same interview, Sunil Grover also talked about his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. The actor will be next seen in the much-awaited film, Jawan, which also features South Indian superstar, Vijay Sethupati and Lady superstar, Nayanthara. The massive fanbase of Sunil Grover is already quite excited about his appearance in Jawan and cannot wait to see him on the big screen in such a big-banner film. Opening up about the same, Sunil Grover admitted that he has high hopes for Jawan after the tremendous success of Pathaan. He said:
"I am very confident and pretty sure. Its a Shah Rukh Khan film and his so many fans are waiting for the film. I am looking forward to Jawan's release. I can't reveal much as the film is still under production."
